A few seconds of leafy goodness, from the scenic byways of Ireland.

Anyway, here's one of my favourite places - an avenue of beech trees in County Antrim.

These majestic, intertwining trees have been there for a good few centuries now, almost 300 years, and make for an amazing sight but with every passing storm more and more of this leafily scenic road crashes to the ground.

It was also used in Game of Thrones and has become a famous place to visit as a result even though those of us local to the area always found it a treasure.

From last year, when temperatures were a lot lower than those of this week.

The weather in Ireland has always been unpredictable but even more so in recent years.

It seems like an age

Five years ago in February I made a visit to the coast for an all day photography adventure.
