This is one of my favourite places on Zakynthos island.
It's a great place to relax with good food and a drink while you take in the spectacular views over the Ionian sea. You can also catch boat trips to the Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cove from here or go down the steps for a swim in the sea. And even stay the night in one of the two Windmills.
Fantastic to see one of my photos on the front of the menu at the Windmill Snack Bar on the clifftop above the Blue Caves in the north of Zakynthos island.

Photographing Zakynthos island's Shipwreck Cove for my Zakynthos island images collection. .
Being visually impaired with Cone Dystrophy and having very little central vision made this quite a challenge for me walking along the rocky clifftop which does not have a proper footpath that in places is only a few inches way from the edge of the 200 meter high cliffs. Eventually I got to the location on the edge of the cliff where i wanted to take the photograph. Looking down from the clifftop towards the beach and Shipwreck below was really breathtaking. I spent a few minutes just standing there to take it all in before taking the photo.
For photographing the beach and Shipwreck below I used my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android phone and Shoulderpod S1 grip. The photo was taken using the Note 3 ' s stock camera app using the panorama mode with the phone held vertically and panning from lift to right. The photos where then edited in Snapseed
