My Happy Place 11/26
#BWProject2017

Wow, so many things that make me happy, but my true happy place is right in the middle of my heart.
I love the water and find a certain point of peace and tranquility there always, but what truly makes me happy are all the wonderful people in my life that reside right in the middle of my heart. How could any material thing or place really make you happy if you don't have the loving people in your life to share them with.
I am reminded even more how important this is the older I get. Children growing up and leaving home, older family and friends leaving for good and leaving a hole in your heart. Life changes, hold on to those that put a smile on your face, a dance to your step, and the love in your heart.

B&W Project 2017
*6/26: Fortnight’s Favourite *

I have for so long had this love affair with the moon, the spell is real. And on a full moon I could just sit out in the dark and just stare at that big glowing orb forever. I have no idea where the fascination or pull came from, but it is there. So being able to catch a shot of it always tickles me. I know they are not the greatest but to me they are just so beautiful. The detail going over to the dark side is what intrigues me the most. I was this last couple of weeks able to catch a few shots with my new lens, which brings me even more delight as the detail is so much more than I have ever been able to attain. And so the next time you look up at that big beautiful orb glowing in the sky, know this, I will be too.
