Digital Fortress
Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

This is one of the views from Lion Rock, a 1600ft peak on the Kowloon Peninsular that offers a 360° view over the entire city and the New Territories.

This is a 400MP stitched image from 19 exposures. Enough to throughly exhaust the processing power of my aging laptop!

Sonic Highways

This evening's view over the expressways leading into and out of Bangkok's busy city centre.
Easily my favourite rooftop view in this expansive city.

- Panorama's and Fuji XT-10 versions of this scene to follow :)

Asia's World City

I've lost count of the number of times I've photographed this view. Sunrise, sunset, fog, rain, clear skies, cloudy skies. I've seen it all.

No matter what the weather, the view from Victoria Peak is amongst one of the finest vistas in the world.

This is Hong Kong!

Nagoya From Above

Here's some shots taken earlier this evening from the observation deck at Midland Square above Nagoya Station.
I can't believe how densely packed this little city is!

1 - View towards Marunouchi & the TV Tower
2 - Nagoya Castle
3 - Looking south over the Nagoya Expressway

I recently posted an image The Veins of Bangkok depicting the cities skyline at night with it's overlapping bright highways.

To shoot that image, I started taking shots every 5 minutes for about 45 minutes before the sun went down and then a few long exposures at night (without moving the camera).

This image is a merge of the first late afternoon shot, mixed with a long exposure of the bright highways long after dark.

Overall, I prefer the night shots for more visual impact, but wanted to share with you this alternate version.

The Glass House

Close up on the Lippo Centre "Twin Towers in Admiralty, Hong Kong.

I love the way the light from neighbouring skyscrapers reflects off the pristine glass at night.
