Hope it will be a good year to all - Espero que seja um bom ano para todos.
Two of my New Year's resolutions:
- Post no more than 4 a day (after I "wake up" all my sleeping collections)
- Not keep hundreds of shots waiting on the computer to be processed!
Resoluções para este Ano Novo:
- Não subir mais de 4 fotos por dia (depois de acordar todas as minhas adormecidas colecções)
- Não manter centenas de fotos no computador, à espera de serem editadas!

Butterflies are usually too fast for my lenses, but this beauty was kind enough to stay for a few shots...
As borboletas são geralmente rápidas demais para as minhas objectivas, mas esta beldade foi simpática o suficiente para fazer umas fotos...

When roses die they become stars in a blooming universe...
Quando as rosas morrem elas transformam-se em estrelas num universo florido...

Hi, my friends, will be away for a while, visiting the hometown. One week or two, depending on the weather. Lousy net connection, as usual there, with the pre-paid card, but it will be enough to see the mail and give a look through your posts...

"Ai flores do verde pinho" - Flowers of the green pine
D.Dinis (1261-1325) grandson of Alfonso X of Castille and poet himself.
This song is about someone who asks about her lover who went to war, and she is answered that he is alive and well. Other (deeper) readings and meanings are there too. No way I am able to translate this to English!
