In 2016, I started drawing again thanks to the powerful impact of the amazing Google+ content creators.
#ThatsAPlus

I don't remember why I started to draw but I remember how I felt when expressing myself on a blank piece of paper. The images I reproduced always turned into peaceful and colorful landscapes on my canvas. It was relaxing, almost like a meditation session.
Art quickly became my passion, so much so that I entered the École des Beaux-Arts (School of Fine Art). I was going to become an official artist (said the school). But...

Life brought me on a different path than the one I had planned (as it usually does). I traveled a lot and forgot about this artsy part of me. I lived in several countries and explored new passions but when walking past an art gallery, my heart would skip a beat and I'd dream about how different my life would have been.

Since we launched the Google+ Create Program, I have been in direct contact with some of the most creative people I've ever meet. Talking to them and looking at their work brought back the young artist I once was. They inspired me to draw again and not to be too hard on myself. It's ok if my interpretation of Robert de Niro looks like Trump. I had fun doing it and I probably learned from it. What count is the journey, not the destination, right?

So thank you so much 2016 for bringing me back to my childhood passion and thank you dear content creators for sharing your work and spreading your passions. Your actions go beyond what you can imagine. Keep creating!
