Highlights from the 6th Jeevan Kite & River Campaign held at the Brahmaputra river side in Guwahati, and organized by Jeevan Initiative.
The campaign is done by the Jeevan Initiative group, which consists of students of various colleges as well.
The fest / carnival or the campaign organizes activities at the event, such as photography contests, cultural programs, drawing competition for kids, kite festival where hundreds of people fly kites, it is a tradition all over India to fly kites during the harvest festivals, Bihu in Assam.

The crowd during the Ambubachi Mela in Kamakhya Temple.
Ambubachi Mela is an annual festival held in Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. Devotees from all over the country visit the temple during these festival which is 4 days long. The locals make arranges for many of the devotees stay during the festival.
