For a Collection that's a little let down at the moment, mostly because it's been a while since I visited Spain.
I saw a lot of nice colors today. Pink in the salt lake and then this very green lake that's called Embalse de la Pedrera. One of the most fascinating places in this area.
It was a very clear day with deep blue sky and when the Sun is as high as it is at the moment, colors really stand out in this lake. It must be from minerals, but where they come from, I have no idea. Again I used polarizing filter to enhance the sky and remove reflections in the lake.
Enjoy. I did.

And here another view close to El Castell de Guadalest.
An old house with a beautiful view, but no one was living in it. I don't understand why.
Photo is taken very close to El Castell de Guadalest, Valencia. Very typical landscape for the region.

A water reservoir seen from 'Castell de Guadalest' not far away from Valencia. Mesmerizing colors.
The view from the old wall of the old 'Castell de Guadalest' south west of Valencia. Very much worth a visit, but don't go there in the weekend as it's unbelievably crowded. You can't see it on the photo, but the tiny village must have had more than a 1000 visitors at that moment. I had to drive out of the village again to find a place to park and half of the village is parking places.

Incredible Spanish landscape. Photo taken today in the mountains just behind Crevillent (Alicante). It's not so easy to find but you're rewarded with views out of this world.

An absolutely stunning view from the Faro del Cabo de Santa Pola in Spain. The 'Cabo' is a 6 million year old atol which means that the warm area was even warmer then and water level was much higher. Hard to imagine. To the right in the distance the small island of Tabarca is seen. It's very much worth a visit if you don't tend to get seasick.
A platform has been built out there on the edge of the old atol, so that you can look down without the danger of falling down the steep slope.
A 4km drive from the highway.

Spain in May. I was driving along MU-A-16 south east of Jumilla, passing Finca del Olmo resort. Beautiful vineyards, almond fields and flowers everywhere.

Bodegas Viña Elena. A small winery with beautiful vineyards. Wines are cheap and good. Very much worth a visit if you're in the area west of Alicante. You can walk around in their vineyards alone if you wish, which I did. Very friendly personnel.

Behind Crevillent (Alicante) you'll find this quiet and beautiful place. Not much going on but the view. It does not seem to have a name.
