As my family and I now return home to Cebu, I managed to take one last trip to the forest. With some of the world's world's best rules when it comes to wild camping and public Access to wilderness. I headed to the forest. To view these blueberries you will need to go two minutes into the video. I also bought with me the world lightest camping pot for some delicious coffee. In my next video I will be back in Cebu, see you then.

Selection Galore
Close to home beneath the shadow of a large three we have this family run Sari-sari store. These "variety" neighborhood stores is found all over the country and is a great way to support our local community. I'l take some fresh local eggs, some locally farmed bananas, coffee, cooking oil, onion and some tissue please. "Breakfast is soon served in just a few minutes."

Chestnut Munia
Prior to 1995 this was the national bird of The Philippines. And luck should have it that I have several of these birds nesting in my garden. Before 1995, this was the national bird of the Philippines. At that time it was known as mayang pula ("red maya"). You and me know it better as Chestnut Munia.

Fishing spot
On this bend in the road I often see children playing and fishermen storing their boats. I've also been here many times fishing for crabs. Staying here for a few hours fishing with friends is always fun.

Where did it come from?
One of my favorite places to visit while in Cebu City is Bo's Coffee. I love the atmosphere there and have been a frequent guest since they started up their first shop. This chain brew locally grown coffee from around The Philippines. I wonder if my coffee came from Sagada, Benguet, MT. Kitanglad, MT. Apo, MT. Matutum or from Civet.

Friends help Friends
Walking to or from the ocean, these two friends look out for each other. They have brought with them their fishing gear, and when the night comes you will find them in the water, knee deep and catching fish, crabs or the odd Jellyfish.
Not all days are successful, but when one gets fish and the other not, they always share.
