How much water is there in a coconut ?
I had always wondered how much water is there in an average coconut. So with camera in hand I went outside to find out. Could it be as much as 1 liter water inside one average nut ? Or much less ? My nut contained enough to fill an average 330 cl soft drink bottle and I can ensure you it tasted delicious. I’ve now also ditched all my Adobe products and switched over to Resolve for all my video editing software. I would highly recommend this software to anyone thinking of editing videos. How to protect coconut trees from rats
I've listened to one of my Subscribers on YouTube, and this weekend I installed protection for rodents in most of our Coconut trees around our Home. This could not have been done without the help from my two friends Jan and Jun-Jun (it is them you see in the thumbnail for this video). As G+ will still be around for a few more months. I have decided to update this collection as long as Google let me. Topic for this upcoming video is How I earn extra income. And as I've touched on before me and my wife do hold day jobs, so only parts of our income come from our small farm. And most of this extra money we give away each month, as other families members need it more than us. (referring to the old film Leica cameras and exquisite lenses) That is a bold statement, but i would agree based on the following: Made in Japan with an magnesium alloy body, super customer service, a complete photo ecosystem with decades of experience with creating wonderful lenses. Miraculous Insecticide Chalk
I found this Chalk in a store for only 5 Php. What a bargain ! And since our house have a few ant colonies nearby I felt the need to test this product. Could this chalk really be any good ? Or would I be poisoned by the pesticides that it contain after all I am getting old now.

50 minutes drive to the store
From our home to the nearest large store we need to drive a bit. I do not mind the driving. In fact I love this drive. Most day when we drive we are almost alone - not this time. Motorcycles, cars, people, dogs and road construction shared the road with us today. This is a short time-lapse video of this trip. This is how I do winter Photography
A blanket of snow is now covering most parts of Norway. And in the South it looks like a Christmas card with deep snow, frosty windows, icicle's and biting cold temperatures. In this weather I traveled to a Cobalt-mining company turned museum. This place is now closed for the season but makes a great place for an outdoor winter photography trip.

Chestnut Munia - Lonchura atricapilla
It occupies the majority of Palm trees in the garden with it's nest, so I have plenty of opportunities to film it. This video is a long shot of it in the top of the Manila Palm. These Passerine birds have three forward pointing toes and one backwards pointing one. See if you can see it ? Then look closely at it's eyes as they bulge out to each side.
