Leo Samuel asked a question about Honda Livo
Q.

why livo bike vibrate when its cross speed of 60

20 May, 2:25PM

All Replies

Praveen 10 hours ago

The Livo has a four-speed transmission and it is normal to feel vibrations at speeds post 60kmph on a bike like this. If it is vibrating abnormally lot, then you may have an issue with the bike. Otherwise, it is fine. I'd suggest you keep the speed at or below 60kmph for best balance between mileage and ride refinement. You can do short bursts of 70kph but keep it limited. This will ensure your engine lasts long.

I am 5'8 and weigh around 56 Kg. With such physique, is it advisable to go with Thunderbird or any other Royal Enfield bike at all? ?

I think you should be able to handle without issues. I'm 5'5'' and I ride the Thunderbird without any problem.

NikilSJ 19 May, 4:02PM

You would have no problem at all. I am 5'5' too and have ridden the Classic and the Continental GT for long distances before. So you should have no problem at all. Cheers!

Q.

What is the price for petrol variant & launch date in india

17 May, 1:37PM

NikilSJ 11 hours ago

The Nexon could be launched around Diwali. It is likely to be priced in the same range as the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. So, expect a price tag in the region of Rs 7.5 lakh-Rs 12 lakh.

The exact payload capacity should be mentioned in the instruction manual. I think the bike will carry around 120kg without harm.

It depends on the variant you are looking for. A decently specced Kwid should cost around Rs 4 lakh on road.

Hariprasadreddy_Koduru asked a question about Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire
Q.

Why changed the Swift dzire model ?

15 May, 9:26PM

All Replies

NikilSJ 7 hours ago

The old Swift Dzire was getting a bit old in the market. Potential customers were staying from the car because of its popularity with the taxi segment. The new car has lost the 'Swift' name and is just called the Dzire now. It is based on an all-new, lightweight platform that also underpins the Baleno and the upcoming all-new Swift which will launch next year. The new car is not only wider and lighter, it is also more spacious and feature-packed. It comes with LED headlamps, LED guide lights, LED DRLs and a touchscreen infotainment system inside. It now also comes with rear AC vents. All these changes makes the new Dzire a lot more desirable than the older car. I hope I have answered your question.

Abhijit_Das_1 asked a question about Jeep Compass
Q.

Hello Experts I would surely go for Compass if prices are kept competitive around 16-18L ex showroom Delhi and if i get clarity on below points- 1. There is some ambiguity on Compass's ground clearance. I am reading different numbers in different sites. Agreed that Trailhawk model (which would not come to India initially) has a different ground clearance to offer for better off-roading, but Sports, Latitude and Limited models should have same ground clearance. 2. I would like to have a flat bed like structure if rear seats are folded, so that my kid could play and rest in long journeys. Not sure of this in Compass. 3. Because of big wheelbase, comfort should be there in cabin in terms of space offered, but it seems that the rear seats are best meant for 2 passengers (as seen in pictures and some reviews). Also in rear window seats , passengers of good height (6 fts. and above) may have difficulty to sit, because of the flow-down structure of Compass. What are your views on this? 5. The TMS (Terrain Management System) would be available in only AWD/4DW vehicles and in which fuel variant? 6. Would Compass offer AT in Diesel Engines? Getting answers to these questions would assist me in taking a decision to go ahead for Compass or not. Regards, Abhijit Das

Q.

I presently own a Chevrolet Beat diesel, model oct 2011, 90,000 kilometres so far. I have had quality problems. 1.turbo charger changed at 65,000kms. 2.now frequent engine oil change every 3000 kms, oil guzzling. 3. Gear shifter knob cover peeled off. Have they refined the above problems? Then would like to exchange with a the new model.

14 Apr, 3:19PM

All Replies

CorsaVeloce 20 Apr, 1:43PM

The problems that you are pointing out seem to be related to a bad turbo. If the problem existed even after the turbo got changed, you should contact the dealer and tell him to check the other components that feed oil around the engine. Oil change should not be done before 7000 kms. The gear shifter knob peeling off is a wear and tear issue and you can easily replace it without hurting your pocked too much.

WHAT IS MAINTENANCE COST OF KAWASAKI Z250

Praveen 13 Apr, 6:32PM

I'm not sure about the exact amount but it is bound to be high now that Bajaj has broken up ties with Kawasaki. That means you can get the bike serviced only at exclusive Kawasaki dealers, and the parts will probably be imported, thereby being expensive.

Can you tell me how TATA Motors can retain the number one position of making the dirtiest cars in India?

Im not sure how to answer that one. But I do disagree with you! Tata has been the homegrown car maker and been on the right path to making brilliant cars. Do not forget that they own JLR and have the capabilities to produce world class products, right here on the Indian soil. They are the ones to watch out for in the coming years!

Well said, but they have been improving with their recent products like the Tiago, Hexa and the Tigor. The upcoming Nexon also promises to deliver on that very same note.

The Activa 4G produces slightly higher power and torque than the Dio but the Dio looks better. But the power difference in real-time will be very minor and I'd suggest you go for the Dio if you like the looks.

The service interval of the TNT 25 is 4,000 km. Considering it is a liquid-cooled bike, the service cost should be around Rs 3,000 per service. However, call up your nearest Benelli dealer and confirm the costs and only then go for it.
