    Description 
    LIROT -- The Israeli Research Association for Eye Health and Blindness Prevention was established in 2006 by parents of children affected by serious vision disorders that lead to blindness. In the past 5 years, funds raised by Lirot supporter, affected families and corporate sponsors have greatly contributed to the development of new treatments. Also, Lirot is one of the few organizations in Israel actively raising awareness about eye health and blindness prevention among children and the elderly .
