I tried a sandwich tonight that blew my mind. It was a tofu and bacon "sloppy joe" with Asian spices and a tangly slaw. I have never really like tofu but this sandwich, on a perfectly toasted 16 Bricks bun, was amazing. This, along with a great ramen noodle-crusted fried chicken sandwich last week (each were the featured 'sandwich of the week' specials), have been my two food experiences with Nine Giant and they have both been outstanding.

Locally sourced but need to improve freshness. I recommend the Bee Keeper sandwich for best value with breakfast potato. I find their sweet potato fried always burned. Was adventurous once and tried salad options.  Avacado and kale in my salad was brown. Their smoothie was acceptable. Omelets are alright. Nothing exceptional.

Now they have started using the "No Wait App" which you can be in line before you get there. Highly recommend that.

Great local venue for events, I was here for the NewCo Cincinnati VIP event, love how they transformed a German gothic church into the hot new event venue in OTR. Beautiful to walk around the venue, see the historical details.
Friendly bar service with local craft beers, food from Funky's catering - the Cincinnati caterer - had a selection of gourmet cheeses, sliders and everyone loved the donut bar - where you could decorate a glazed donut with just about any sweet sugary topping imaginable.
The Transept is ideal for a memorable event in the heart of Cincinnati.

A friend wanted to try Tickle Pickle for birthday dinner, so I treated her for her big day. When we walked in group of people waiting for their food in the restaurant & waiting for carryout. Our order was taken pretty quickly -  you order at the counter & they bring to you. I loved the music/band menu theme. My friend selected the Hammstein and I created my own with pepper jack cheese, mushrooms, mayo, lettuce. We also picked a few sides to share, pasta salad, smashed potatoes and mac & cheese, also each burger comes with a side of their homemade spicy slaw. They have a good selection of local canned craft beer & dessert.
When the burgers arrived we were excited to try, but my friend's Hammstein didn't have kraut or bacon on it - she had to bring it back to the counter, they did fix. My burger was dry, normally love a juicy burger - when I ordered should I have asked how they were prepared?
The sides were good.
I enjoyed the James Brownie shake, good on a hot summer day.
Also their A/C wasn't working that well, know we've had a hot summer, but affected the overall atmosphere at the Tickle Pickle.
