    So rather than erroneously labeling Hamas a "terrorist organization," one should label them as a political organisation that has, from time-to-time, used terrorism as a tactic. Similarly, Israel is not a terrorist organization but a state that often uses terrorism as a strategy.

    Agree, but "terrorism" still has meaning if you seperate the act from the actor. While labelling a group/individual a "terrorist" is politically subjective, you can objectively label an act that indiscriminately targets civilans as a form of political communication as terrorism.

    The word terrorist no longer has any meaning and should not be used as a descriptor by journalists. Reporters, protesters, nations and children are all referred to as “terrorists”
