When I create my shopping list, the heading says “Unnamed List,” instead of “Publix Ad: 3/28-4/6.” This also happened when I created my Kroger list. Please fix this issue. (I am running Safari 9.1 on a Mac, if that helps.)

  That is the last little bug we are trying to fix. For right now just give the list a name in the box before saving you can call it whatever you like. My developer ran off to disney for a few days, but hopefully we can get that fixed early next week!

How do I see what the current ad deals are? I’m here in FL and our ads run Thurs-Wed, but today is only Monday and I can’t figure out how to see current ads…help!!

  This is a longer ad due to the Easter holiday. It started today and runs through Wednesday April 6. A new ad will start as usual on Thursday April 7th and stay on track till another holiday comes along.

I know some folks in older version of IE are having issues, so trying another web browser might be the first step. Also see if an ad blocker might be blocking it from showing too.

First time ever… there were two mistakes on here. Watermelon chunks and egglands cage free eggs were not on sale. I have used this site for several years and never had a problem before, but was disappointed today.

  Yeah, it’s not mistakes, but rather it is regional differences. In addition to a few differences in the items on sale, Publixes in my region often have higher prices than the prices listed on this site (even though I live in the poorest county in Florida–go figure!). That means that every so often I plan a menu and a tight grocery list for a gas card deal and print coupons that I end up not being able to use. It happens. It’s no different than planning a gas card deal and finding that the items you need are no longer in stock. I always try to come to the store with a back-up plan to help me navigate through the unexpected.

  Hey there! I know that they will not display in Internet explorer nine and possibly earlier versions then nine. You may want to try a different web browser. We are currently trying to figure out how to make old versions of Internet Explorer work. You may also want to upgrade her Internet Explorer to 10 or 11.

I really don’t think Publix realizes how annoying the lack of doubling is. They said it was so they can offer more sales but that doesn’t matter to me. If it’s on sale and I have a coupon that would have doubled but doesn’t now, I just don’t buy it. So they lose my business.
I hope that others will try to do the same so that they decide to change their policy back. I now rarely ever buy cereal and snack bars there because so many of those coupons used to double.

  I agree with you. We do most of our shopping in Bi-Lo now since they double up to 60¢ and they take all of Publix’s coupons (as well as many other competitors).

    Yep! Only thing is the Bi-Los closest to me are smaller and have less selection. Plus, they aren’t direct competitors with Publix because they’re not really close to it so they won’t take your groceries out. Shopping really IS a pleasure at Publix and honestly, they seem to be doing well here because they are updating or even rebuilding stores.

  I had to laugh. I am so like you. Although Publixes in my region have never doubled coupons, if ever I know there is a better deal out there somewhere on something, and I can’t get the deal, I don’t buy the product! Even if I want it! I don’t know why, but it is like pulling nails for me to buy something if I am thinking that it isn’t as good a deal as it could be! ( LOL). I think the necessity of saving outweighs the inconvenience of it.

Heads up to Gainesville, FL, shoppers–for us there is no sale on Plum organic baby food pouches this week, so don’t figure it in with the gift card deal or anything when you plan. Also, no Nabisco Good Thins on sale this week in our region.

Wasn’t the BOGO sale on grass-fed ground lamb great a couple of weeks ago? This is rarely on sale, and rarely an advertised sale. I wish it would be on sale more often and that more of it was being farm-produced. It flew off the shelves in my city, and the stores are still having trouble stocking it again.

  We are trying to figure out how to add it back without killing our servers. Because of the new Tab system, having a select all button now would add every deal from every active list on the page which for stores like Publix (and sometimes Kroger) would add hundreds of items to your list at the same time. We are trying to see if we can add a select all button to the bottom of each list or to the bottom of each section though.
  
  We may have a fix for it soon though. Hope this helps!

Hi Jenny. Just an FYI. You can not add items to an existing list using IE 11. I had a problem with that, but switched to Chrome and it works just fine.

      I just tested it again and it still did not work for me using IE 11 with Windows 8.1. The issue is that when I click on the drop-down arrow next to the ‘new saved list’ box, nothing drops down. ‘New Saved List’ is highlighted. This is when I open from the tiles screen or desktop mode.

I don’t like with the recent changes made for the shopping lists that the comments don’t apply only to the list/tab selected above but are retained and shown for older lists. Also is it me or have the sales from Publix been pathetic? They stopped doubling here a couple of years ago now and their promise to have better sales and more bogos is so bogus. All the stores that double in my area beat their sales hands down especially Harris Teeter plus their customer service has slipped drastically from what it was when they first moved here. I’m shopping Publix less and less. This week’s ad is awful.

Jenny, I have never been more thankful for your work than I am today. Not only have you taught me to stretch the dollar in ways I never before knew possible, but also you teach us how to coupon with integrity. Today I attended a couponing class at my local library. The librarian has asked me to teach it but I have continually said no because your website is available for anyone who wants to learn, and I am available to answer any questions. Well, today someone else was talked into teaching a couponing class at the library; and the teacher of the class advocated coupon fraud. She told us to use expired coupons deliberately, and to try to pass multiple manufacturer coupons on the same item. She said she learns which cashiers don’t pay attention, and makes sure she goes through their lines! I finally understand now why it is that I am sometimes looked at askance for couponing as heavily as I do, as if I am a criminal. It is people like this lady who give couponers a bad name! I will never go to this class again if it repeats itself, and I am going to suggest to the librarian to not let this lady teach any further because of her advocacy of fraud.
Also, the teacher of the class said she saved $1000 last year couponing. That is one-fifth of what a lot of couponers I know (who were taught by you) save just from the couponing alone (including digital coupons, rebates, and paper coupons, and excluding savings that come by things being on sale). Your website is absolutely excellent for teaching people how to save money across the board, not just with paper coupons. Thank you so much for the many people whom you have helped–some to just save, and others just to survive. And thank you for doing it with integrity and excellence.

  Coupon fraud can hurt businesses and get cashiers fired. Plus, it’s just wrong. You’re 100% correct, we should play by the rules. I have overheard Walmart cashiers talk about being threatened with firing if they get a coupon wrong. Please don’t play with these people’s livelihoods. The last time I went shopping I used $140 worth of coupons and they were all legit. Jenny shows us how to do it and there’s no excuse not to. This is an awesome community, let’s be vigilant about keeping that way. :D

Can someone explain to me how the save $5/$20 Pepsico SnackShareSave ecoupon works. I registered and linked the coupon to my Publix ecoupons. It shows up, but when I went to Publix and bought $20 in Pepsico Brand sodas the $5 did not come off. Is it only applicable toward the snacks and not the soda? Above it appears that the $5 comes off of sodas also. I bought Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and Schweppes Ginger Ale. All were listed as Pepsi sodas.

  If you go to the website where you linked the coupon to your account there is usually a list of participating products. There is usually a short list on the back of the Publix weekly ad as well. I had the same problem the first time I used this type of offer, so I feel your frustration. HTH!

  A number of the desired coupons don’t exist. It’s bait to get you to click on the website hoping you will click on a sucker coupon.
  What’s a sucker coupon ?
  Here’s an example: The .75 cents off two boxes of 8.9 ounce Cherios regular $3.29 price when the store brand (also made in the same General Mills plant) is $1.89 for same weight box.
  $3.78 verses $5.83 if you had simply bought the store brand.
  
  Also there are other sucker coupons offers. When you click on the practical deal, the coupon never shows and instead you get a never ending list of coupons that frankly, are losers.
  Giving you .75 cents off a $7.99 bag of frozen nuggets is not a deal when the same store brand is $3.99
  There are literally thousands of these fake deal coupons – choose carefully.

The Magnum coupon that I got in the Best Meals at Home email appears to be a digital Publix manufacturer’s coupon. It can not be printed or combined with another coupon. Where it used to say “Print Coupon,” it now says “Clip digital coupon.” If I am wrong about this, someone please correct me.

  I get the same thing. These coupons won’t be used by me most likely. They would have to be high value coupons, higher than printables and insert coupons, or they won’t be worth the time.

  All (four) of my BMaH coupons were digital this month. None were printable. This has happened the past two months. I guess they don’t have to stack it with anything if it’s digital. I’m also getting fewer coupons each month.

I have a question about Shopmium. I now see some fine print that says the offers can’t be used in conjunction with a coupon. I’ve not noticed this previously and wondered your thoughts on whether using a MFR or store coupon in conjuction with the Shopmium rebate is fraud or how they would even know since most stores list coupons redeemed at the end of the receipt with no specifics as to the product, only the amount. Target is the only store I can think of that prints coupons in-line with the item and reduces the return value of the product.

The $5/5 Publix Q is not a match for the bogo Pace Salsa in the 5/4 ad. The one on sale is 16 oz. PQ says it’s for the 24 oz. I got excited. I was ready to stock up:-(

Hi…does anyone have as much trouble as me finding the digital coupons on the Publix website? There’s no search box so I always have to pick a category I think it’s under. I have been wrong before…finding it under a category that I don’t think it should be under…anyway I very rarely find the digital coupons listed here. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or am I missing something. I love Kroger’s app…you just type the coupon in the search box and it pops it up. You don’t have to go searching for it :)

  YES. I hate the new system! I even wrote to them about it and never received a reply.
  I just go in and activate all of them, that way I know (or am pretty sure) that it’s been activated. Then if it’s not under the category I think it should be, I’ll look under general.
  Also, I just figured out that you should sort them newest first NOT relevant because then you don’t get all of the new ones up that you haven’t activated yet. But yes, I agree, their system is dumb.

  select category – ALL, and scroll all the way to the bottom of the entire list. Then hit ctrl-F (PC) or command-F (for Mac) to search the item you’re looking for by name or type of item

  I don’t have trouble finding them. But, I really hate that there is no good way to print out a list of what you have loaded. The only way is using “Print Preview”, and that’s a huge waste of paper and ink. I wish Publix would realize that not everyone has a smartphone on which we can remind ourselves what we have loaded.

The Hellman’s Mayo in your unadvertised deals for 5/11 is not free. The regular price this week in my store is $5.47 not $3.73. Maybe they raised the price since they have the $2.50 q in the flyer.

  No, some areas are just a lot cheaper and it is free for them. It’s $5.69 in my area but I have read that it is regularly $3-something in a lot of other areas. I didn’t realize that there was such a huge difference in the price of mayo:/

    There is normally some price variation between stores but not this much. I’m used to verifying the price in my store versus what’s on the list and a lot of times my stores price is cheaper so this is just really odd if the $3.73 price is correct for some Publix stores. I went to Food Lion instead as they have Hellman’s 30 oz. for $3 and some Food Lions have just started taking competitor coupons and mine is so I was able to get several jars for $.50 each using the Publix $2.50 coupon. Plus I got six packs of Cokes for $2 and free PopSecret 3/4 cnt popcorn ($2.29 value) wyb 2 Coke 6 packs using another Publix coupons. Loving that Food Lion is taking competitor coupons.

  Publix only doubles in certain areas, I live in FL and we have never doubled. I think they stopped at the beginning of the year in some other markets, possibly the Carolinas? It is correct that they do not have a card for Ecoupons. They have their own digital coupon system, you go to the Publix website and sign up with your phone number, add the coupons to your account and enter your phone number at check out to use the coupons. As for Savingstar you can redeem their coupons by uploading your receipt via their app or through their website.

I had my first try at couponing today. I made a short list, had my coupons and went to Publix, Kroger, CVS. CVS was a great find and loved it. Kroger was okay and got what I needed. Publix was a huge disappointment for me. Almost everything I had for coupons there were not in stock. I was informed by a sales clerk that one lady came in this morning and took all the Crest Kids Toothpaste and Colgate 2pk toothbrushes that were on the shelf. I only wanted two, so -0- for that. Plus I couldn’t find any of the extra mags at mine and CS was no help.

Any suggestions for a newbie here? Really need to save money for the family, but from today it seems most of the bargains are gone when I went. Is there a Best day/time to go shopping at Kroger, Publix or CVS?

  I shop weekends, and I often find the same thing. However, Publix does rainchecks – go to customer service and ask for a raincheck. They will fill out a form for you to return and buy the toothpaste at the sales price at a later date (I think it’s good for 30 days?). I know they WILL accept the coupons, even if they expire before you redeem your raincheck – they say this on their website.
  It’s a hassle, for sure, but you can at least get the deals at a later date.

  I’ve noticed that the sale items are depleted on the first day of the sale, during the weekend and the last day of the sale. That doesn’t give the rest of us much time to scoop up the bargains, though.

I was thinking ummm don’t you think anyone else might want some too? lol We all want a good deal, but I’m afraid that the greediness of some will one day hurt all of us. They’ll start limiting us. Did anyone have trouble with the Ragu coupon? The coupon has a picture of the new Homestyle Ragu, but the print says $1 off ANY Ragu pasta sauce. My Publix doesn’t have the Homestyle. As soon as the cashier saw it, she said I couldn’t use the coupon because the fine print said otherwise. The fine print said “use only on the product indicated,” in which the text at the top says ANY Ragu. It makes me think the store have been rejecting the Ragu coupons the entire cycle.

  I had no problem using them on the other Ragu. I bought both new kind and one of the others. The fine print does say “use only on the product indicated” however the product indicated is “any” Ragu so you should not have had any problems.

  I believe so. You can either use a paper coupon or an e-coupon but not both.

  Yes they are. So if you have a paper manu coupon, you’re not supposed to be able to stack them. However, there have been times when I have had a paper one and the e-coupon still came off, probably because of the coding on the paper one, or maybe it was put in manually so the system doesn’t recognize it.

  Yes, their digital coupons are all manufacturer Qs. However, you can also sign up for their Best meals email, as well as a few others, and the Qs you get for those will be store Qs, which can be used (stacked) with manufacturer ones. Also, in the store, they have additional fliers that are all store Qs.

  It usually takes 6-8 weeks to receive rebates back. I keep a record of them and when I sent and any phone numbers to call and refer back to it if I don’t get my rebate back.

  All you have to do to not be charged is redeem one rebate every 12 months. There are always produce rebates for 25 cents, any brand items etc. If you do not want to keep the account, go to the help section, and click the contact us button. That will let you contact them via email, and just tell them you want to deactivate the account. I don’t understand anyone not wanting to keep it though as, I am not a daily user of it but have redeemed almost $900 in just over 2 years. Good luck

  It’s very common for some coupons to be regional, both in print and online. We don’t get alot of the coupons here in the Myrtle Beach Sun News in SC, but it did have the Bic 2.00 q in SS 5/22. You learn in couponing that you can’t get every deal.

Am I missing something? It says the Eight O Clock coffee would be 0.88 each if I buy 2 and use the 2.50 off of 2. If I am thinking right (maybe not!) they would be 2.13 a bag after the coupon. 2 bags for 6.77 minus 2.50 off of 2 would be 4.27. Divide by 2 and that’s 2.13. Am I wrong???

Is this really the correct “regular” price for Hellman’s mayo at your Publix?

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, 30 oz, at $3.87 ($1.93)

This is the second time you’ve posted a deal recently for Hellman’s at Publix and at my store the price is considerably higher making it not really a good deal. The PUBLIX Mayo is $3.47 but the Hellman’s 30oz. is $5.47 making B1G1 price $2.73 and after the $1 q $1.73 not as good a deal as $.93 you have listed. I just can’t believe that there is that much of a difference in price between Publix locations. If there is you’re getting an exceptional regular price and we’re getting gouged big time.

  I understand that Pubix must compete with other brands in states like GA and SC, but let me say here that I don’t like it that the water from a spring nearby our house is being bottled as Publix spring water, and Publix is selling it for much more to the residents here, to whom this water belongs, than it sells it to those out of state. Kind of bites. I don’t think they should be selling it out-of-state at all.

  What do you need help with? This is how I did it, maybe this will help?
  Bought 2 Venus disposable pacs (I think they were 4pack of sensitive variety), and at my store they were $9.99 ea
  So they rang up to $20, but then the register automatically took off $5. So with no coupons my total was $15. I then used two $3/1 mfr coupons, which brought my total to $9. I also used two of the store coupons for any Gillette or Venus razor or cartridge 1-12ct (does not say it can’t be used on disposables, so both store I did this deal at took them). Each of those coupons was $2, so it took an additional $4 off, which brought my total to $5 for two packs of razors!
  
  10+10=20 (retail cost)
  20-5=15 (promo cost)
  15-6=9 (subtracting the two $3 mfr Qs)
  9-4=5 (subtracting the two $2 store Qs)

      Your Publix is violating the Publix coupon policy if they will not take manufacturer’s coupons with store discounts. Such behavior is unusual, and, even if it is an honest accident, it is dishonest in that it violates store policy which both the customer and the store depend upon for mutual benefit. I would take the time to print out the store’s coupon policy from their website, go back to the store’s customer service with your coupons and receipt, explain in a nutshell what happened, gently point out the coupon policy to them, and wait for them to correct their error. If they do not, point out the coupon policy and tell them you do not understand why they are not following store policy, and ask them to explain why they are not. If necessary after that, ask for the store or grocery manager and repeat the process. If you do that, I do not think they will fail to correct their mistake. If they fail to make it right and you have not misunderstood written policy, you can call corporate and kindly ask for their help, even while you are still in the store. You will be helping everyone. It is important to us to be able to depend on the written store policy when planning a shopping trip.

Anyone else notice how Publix BOGO is getting less and less and now they have started buy 2 get 1 and 3/prices. There prices are definitely going up and by large margins, for example their ice cream was 2/7.00 is now 2/9.00 that is a large margin of price gain. Sure the give you a 2/7.00 which is their special, was 2/5.00 figure that out percentage wise and that’s a large margin of price gain. Many of their items have gone up like this. I suggest we all contact them and voice our concerns for their rise in pricing. Whether you are raising a family or on a limited SS income this hurts us all.

    Yeah, the coupons aren’t as good, but that is because you are seeing many coupons for foods containing long-term storage crops the federal government subsidizes (think corn, soy, etc., and animal products of animals fed these things). Many of your good deals are on foods and non-foods that contain these crops which the government subsidizes until these crops are able to be sold at prices below the cost of production (true of corn, for sure). Also, as the value of the dollar continues to goes down due to the federal reserve causing continued inflation through the printing of unbacked currency, the deals in the stores just can’t continue to be as good as before. Publix isn’t hostile to coupon deals– overall, Publix prefers that you use coupons. It helps them just as much as it helps their customers. Using coupons gives customers more $ in your pocket to spend at Publix than they otherwise would have. Publix gets reimbursed the value of the coupons and also gets paid coupon handling fees above that value. Publix benefits from coupons just as much as we do, which is a good thing for business.

  I used to shop Publix exclusively because they had the best sales on all the food I buy. Nowadays, their sales are mostly junk food, processed and high in carbs and sugar. Luckily, they have opened an Aldi and Sprouts nearby and I have options. I have to make more stops now, but I can still save money. I’m not sure what is happening to them, if they are getting less deals from suppliers, or if they just want to increase their margins.

I always have a printed copy of each store’s coupon policy in my coupon binder, printed straight from their website. It’s come in very handy quite a few times when employees didn’t know their own store policies. BTW, that’s terrible that a c/s mgr didn’t know what they were talking about, I would tell the general manager next time you’re in there.

My Publix – Greater Atlanta area had 2 great deals: Tiny Toast cereal 2 for $4 and I had a $1 off coupon plus there’s a SavingStar rebate for $1 which makes the cereal free! Then they had Colgate B1G1 for $1.87 so with the $0.50 off coupon off one and my store still doubles, buying 2 is a $0.13 moneymaker!

  Did you check the coupon data base at the top of the screen? You can enter in your paper, and it will tell you where (and if) a particular coupon was in your inserts. I have found some coupons were not in my inserts and others were in different dates than posted. I found some FL papers have skimpy inserts compared to others!

  Also if you login at the top and then go to your profile (hover over your name in the top right) you can select what newspapers you get. Then when you make a shopping list if the coupon wasn’t in your paper it will go away.

Why do the saved lists not allow “saving changes” any more? Every time I remove coupons that I don’t have from the list, they reappear after a few minutes. I prefer to print a list that only includes the coupons I have instead of pages of coupons that I don’t.

  you can buy inserts at several places I use CouponFleaMarket . com and also Weclipusave . com and have used several others over the years, it helps to search around online at the different sites because you can sometimes run across a coupon that wasn’t offered in your local paper, I get a lot of q’s from Tn because the ones in my local paper are pitiful and lower value, q’s are often omitted from the inserts in smaller towns. Buying papers from larger cities like Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, etc has gotten me some really great deals!

Is anyone having a problem switching tabs? I can’t view the unadvertised or advantage deals. Every time I click on the tabs, the page refreshes. I have tried using Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edge. I installed an ad blocker a little while back, but have disabled it for this site. I have also turned off my pop-up blocker, to no avail.

  You didn’t say what operating system your using so I assume Windows 10 since you mentioned Edge. When you have issues with all browsers it usually means your computer could have spyware that’s interfering. You need to have a current up-to-date Anti-virus and spyware removal program. Also check the clock/date on the device and make sure it’s current. I’m using Firefox 49.0.1 which is the newest version. First try updating Firefox: On the toolbar at the top of the browser click “Help” and select “About Firefox” (if you don’t see the toolbar right-click in the top area and select menu bar) If it needs updating it will automatically update. If it’s updated already then the problem could be a plug-in or extension interfering. You can check these in the toolbar by selecting “Tools>Add-ons”. Extensions can be removed. Plug-ins need to be updated especially Java: at the top of the plugin screen click the update link to see which ones are outdated. Also it’s a good idea to clean out the temp files and cookies. Hope this helps!

  You can only stack store coupons with manufacturer coupons, but not along with the digital also. You may be able to use those checks on top of everything, but it will depend on what those checks say in the detail as to how you can use them with other offers. Try using the best deal you can get, but be prepared to have it scrutinized by the store! All you can do is try as long as you feel it’s the right method and you’re following the “couponing” rules to the best of your knowledge. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Cesar 12 pack wet dog food trays are $8.39 at my Publix. (Davie, FL). Use a BOGO coupon from the new purple flyer and 2-$2/1 multi-pack Cesar trays mfr coupon from RP 10/02 to get them for $2.20 a case wyb 2. Less than .20 per tray. If you were lucky enough to get ahold of BOGO mfr peelies a few weeks ago, like me, you can get 2 cases free.

For the touchdown flyer coupons(specifically the $5/2 items-hillmans, frutare, etc..) Does anyone know the policy on how many of those you can use in one transaction? I know you can only use one for 2 items, but could I use 3 if I buy 6 items? Make sense?

  Yes, you should be able to use three if you’re buying six participating items. I just used four this morning.

    My store only allowed 2 deals and I had to use 1 coupon per deal. So, if I wanted to buy 4 mayo, I would have to have 2 coupons. AND they pulled all the green adv. flyers and did not make them available. When asked about the flyer, they said they had one. Man…it’s not like I wanted to clear the shelf. I felt like a criminal. :(

  Yes!… the rule is 8 of the same coupon, it doesn’t matter if its different products the coupon is the same. but I would ask at your store about that particular coupon, because we have had some corporate disclaimers concerning that particular coupon and the limits for it are up to the store manager discretion, (I work for publix that’s why I know about this )

  My store just imposed a limit today of 2 for that coupon. They claimed it was from corporate, but who knows. I think they didn’t realize how good of a deal that coupon would be when they put it out!

  they only let me use two and said it couldn’t be on matching brands. I had never heard that one before! So they said I couldn’t buy two things of pops and two things of tea. It was very confusing! So I ended up having them put two boxes of the popsicles up (I was only getting 4) and he forgot to take them off of my recipe! Glad I looked at the confusing receipt closely when I got home! I have never had then tell me that I could only buy one of each product!

    That is exactly what happened to me–I was going to get 4 popsicles and they told me those same rules. They need to put up signs in store if they’re changing the coupon rules so we can plan our shopping trips!

    The problem is that they are getting the $5/2 coupon mixed up with the Snack/Share/Save promo. The snack/share/save promo had to included at least 2 different brands, but that was never the deal with the $5/2 coupon.

      wrong. I spoke to corp several times. Here is what happened. They figured out the super deal and on night 1 limited to 2 coupons per customer. The same night they clarified that it had to be 2 separate brands. The next day, everyone was calling corp and pitching a fit. They reverted back to 8 coupons sometime on day 2. They also issued a special raincheck just for snack share save. Did not have to use diff brands on it. Select any items to total $15 and up to 4 rain checks. If you had tea and furttare on these you could attach the coupon as they were separate brands on the $2/5. My store refused to issue me the raincheck, the manager contacted me the next day and personally gave me mine.

  At my stores around Chattanooga it is limit 8 per flavor. You can get 8 green beans reg., 8 no salt green beans, 8 potatoes, 8 corn, 8 carrots, 8 tomatoes with chilies, 8 diced tomatoes, 8 petite diced tomatoes, 8 peach, 8 pear etc….. I believe your store has the policy wrong. Limit 8 per flavor, not limit 10 items from a specific brand.

  My store was just limiting the coupon to two per person. Everything was still out though. I didn’t get a raincheck because you can’t on the flier coupons and probably not on the $5/$15 promo.

    They did put out a snack share save raincheck. The policy was you could pick any items to make up to $15 and you could get 4 per day. Plus they will take the coupon with it if it applies. I have 2 for the fruttare and tea combined.

Just for people’s info I tried using the $5/2 popsicle etc…coupon just now and the cashier would not take it. She said it has to be 2 different items. They can’t be the same. I reread it and showed her it says ANY 2 participating items. She finally took it. But wanted to put that warning out there.

Publix is just horrible with prices lately. 8.49$ regular price for Tombstone pizza?! It is like 3.39$ in Walmart. 7.49$ for Country crock 45 oz, it is around 3.50$ in Walmart. it is insane.

  On the BOGO’s remember that it is one price listed but usually many varieties included in the sale that are different prices. I know the Classico for example was in the in the ad bogo at $4.79 but in the store that ended up being the Riserva type and the original type was $2.39. They don’t always break it all down in the ad though and the prices above are generally all from the ad until I can get to the store and check other items.
  
  I agree on the country crock though, anything “(reg. price)” is usually going to be a scary price.

Hi Jenny, I just wanted to let you know that for the Cesar’s dog food you have the wrong price for the 24 ct. It’s $16+ for the 24 ct and $8+ for the 12 ct. Which means we can’t use the publix coupon for the $4.00 off because it’s only for the 24 ct. Too good to be true i know but oh welll lol.

Jenny, when I make my list in the last 4 or 5 weeks all the coupon match ups don’t transfer over. For instance on this list, 1 of the Marie Callendar’s coupons and 2 of the Campbell’s soup coupons didn’t show. Any ideas?

  I also would like to know if it can be printed. However, in my store, if you ask at customer service, they will direct you to where you can find a store flyer (with the coupon in it) in a bin in the store. Sometimes they have store flyers in-store, and sometimes not. You might call your store and ask if they have the weekly flyer in the store.

Hi Jenny! I don’t know what happened, but I went to Publix today armed with my list that is dated here 11/23 – 11/29, and none of the items were on sale. I did not receive a Publix ad in my paper today like I usually do. Is there an error on the dates? I have been using this site for over a year and I have seen minor errors, but never that the whole ad was incorrect. I live in Alabama where sales do start on Wednesday. Please advise. Thank you.

  Our Publix dates run Wed-Tues and it’s confusing because it looks like Wed overlaps two sales which shouldn’t be true. I think some stores advertise dates Thurs-Wed. Always check your ad dates. You can go on the website and find them to see when your store’s ad ends.

    Thank you for your response. I do understand how the dates work. I have been using this site for a long time. On the ad in question, it was a holiday week and the tab was incorrectly dated, as the sale did not start until Friday 11/25 on that week, but it was still dated Wednesday11/23. That is what I was trying to say. I should have known that, because they do it every holiday. I only paid attention to the date listed here and not what I should have known. That is why I was confused. The answer was posted previously about the holiday being the issue. It was never corrected, but is no longer visible so is now irrelevant.

The Goodbelly coupon for $1.50 in the 11/20 SS is a manufacturer coupon, not a store coupon. No LU#. So it cannot be used with the other coupons. Still a good price with the B2G1 and the Publix bogo, though.

Just got the word tonight that the Publix Stores in Montgomery Alabama will discontinue the Penny Item promotion after tomorrow (12/14) and will stop doubling coupons after December 22nd. It might actually save me money because now we can stop the newspaper (for the Penny Item coupon) during the week and our 2 extra Sunday papers for printed coupons. Will be switching to online printable coupons and comparing Publix prices to Walmart as there is no longer an inherent advantage for Publix. I feel sad but price is very important.

  Publix still has great deals despite the non-doubling policy. For me, they just have so much more selection than the other stores around here (Bi-Lo, Lowe’s Foods) and the employees are SO much more friendly! So I still love Publix!
  I wish I could have extra papers delivered to our house! I pay to have 1 Sunday paper delivered but I don’t think I can ask for more than one. Inserts are still worth it to me.

But I work at Lowes and we have the best policy except for maybe HT……..Jenny doesn’t have the updated version of their policy posted, ( I know cause I checked)..If you go to Lowes site and look at the policy through there you’ll find that we not only accept competitor coupons off whole buggy’s we now accept cents off competitor coupons too. Go read the policy at their web cite.

Even though Publix is very high in prices, it is possible to get products at low price and even free. The main reason I go, though, is because you can get a $50 gas card for $40. So, I choose enough items (even if I don’t use them) that have coupons that make them free or nearly free. Then I use a competitors coupons on top of that (like $10 off $30) and end up getting the groceries free and a whopping 20% off a gas card which saves us money. My regular grocery shopping I do through BI-LO,

I wrote to Publix a couple weeks ago when I learned of the “no more doubling policy.” I still love my Publix store. The employees are so friendly. They have helped me on numerous occasions. That is an added bonus you don’t see in other stores, but still price is very important. People still want good prices. I was informed that in the East Tn area..mainly Knoxville…that for now they will continue to double coupons. So I will continue to shop there, but I am finding that I buy less and less there. My shopping lists seem to get smaller and smaller. I do wish we had a Bi-Lo in my area. I am not complaining at all. I still get great deals often. I go early to my local Walmart and stock up on discounted meat and bread and freeze it. I have learned a lot from Jenny and other folks on here how to save money. So much to be thankful for. Just wanted to share what corporate told me about our local Publix stores here in East Tn. And with everything that has gone on in the last few weeks with folks losing their homes and some have lost family members, I feel compelled to just be thankful for everything. Don’t want to complain at all. Merry Christmas everyone.

  Our Publix in Suwanee, GA told me this week that they no longer double coupons as of 1/1/17. They’ve been doing $2 off coupons instead of the Penny Item since then and today, there was not a $2 off or a Penny Item coupon in my paper. They must be giving up on the Penny Item here in GA, too. :o(

  My local Publix no longer doubles coupons either. I did not know this as there is not a single sign up at the store indicating the new change. I wish they informed their shoppers of this change before I bought items and had to hold up the line with having the cashier remove them from my bill. I would have bought another brand if I knew I didn’t have the better deal. My lists at Publix are dwindling and I find better meat and produce prices at food lion by at least half. Bogos are pretty much the only things I shop for now. Publix needs to lower the prices on non sale items because Walmart, Kroger, and target beat them hands down on normal everyday prices on most items.

Just a note on the Iams Cat Food deal. I’m in Georgia, and the Publix stores in my area don’t treat the BOGO Public coupon like a normal BOGO deal. Instead of being charged half price for each bag, they deduct the price of one bag ($6.99) and let you use once mfg coupon. So, 2 bags @ $6.99, after BOGO Publix coupon and $2.50 mfg coupon costs $4.49 ($2.25/ea). Under a normal BOGO deal, you could use (2) $2.50 mfg coupons, which would make it $.99 per bag. Still a good deal for Iams though!

  You should still be able to use 2 manufacturer coupons on a BOGO deal. I live in Florida where we always have “true BOGOs”, meaning if you buy 1 item, you pay full price, and corporate policy says you can use 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon per item. Bring a printed copy of the store coupon policy with you when you shop (or have it pulled up on your phone). It’s available on the Publix website.

  I live in Georgia and at my Publix I was able to use both the Publix BOGO coupon and 2 mfg coupons on the Iams. You should ask customer service if you still have the receipt.

Anyone know anything about Stocking Spree’s shutting down their program 7 days early? I went to their site to upload my final receipt on Jan. 2, and found out they had already shut this process down completely on Dec. 31. I have a printout of their program rules that states that we have until Jan. 7, 2017, to upload final receipts and claim final gift cards for items purchased on or before Dec. 31.

  I went and just tried to cash out and claim my next $10 card
  on the 31st and it was already shut down! Very frustrating!

    Woah. The site says they shut down on the 31st, so it must have been early (before day’s end), then. I’m waiting to hear back from them, also. If I don’t get my final gift card, I will be returning the $50-worth of product I purchased for the deal. Luckily I have not used it yet. I always hold rebate purchases in reserve in case a rebate doesn’t come through. I am only buying the product because the rebate makes it a sweet deal; so without the rebate I don’t want it.

Shopping at publix store # 1066 in Jacksonville they refused to take manufacture and target on the same item. stated I need to purchase 2 more items in order to use all the coupons. They are no longer coupon friendly in this store. They finally took all coupons when I showed the their coupon policy.

  If the Target coupon was a Manufacturer one (stated on top of the coupon next to the expiration date usually), then you can’t use two manufacturers’ unless you purchase two items. Publix is the only store in my area who allows “stacking” as long as one coupon is actually the store’s coupon used along with a manufacturer.

In my area (south Florida), in the new ad Amy’s entrees are 3 for $10. Burritos and wraps are 5 for $10 ($2 each).

For the first time ever using this site, I was presented with an issue at Publix last night. I went in to purchase a few items from this ad because the dates read 1/25-2/1 and to my surprise they didn’t honor the sales because they stated that (SS) is based out of Georgia and those stores sale dates are different. Anyone else ever have this issue in Fl? Or was I wrong?

  Our prices are different often. This site helps me to make my list but I know the prices in our sales paper is what I will pay. Our store is considered a beach store so prices are higher. I can drive 15 mile south and get better prices across the whole ad. Publix is so great that I don’t mind paying the extra. Hope that helps.

In some other areas, their version of this week’s ad runs Jan 26 (Thur) – Feb 1 (Wed). There can also be differences in particular items/ brands and prices.

With the Unilever deal..spend $30 get a $10 Publix Gift Card is the $30 before or after coupons? I’m asking because I know that when processing Saving Star in order to get credit..ie, $5/25 off Sargento. Saving Star credits you..ie, this week they’re $3.99 B1G1 using .40/2 MFR Q Saving Star gives me $3.59 toward the purchase not, $3.99. Being that this is a Unilever purchase and a lot of Saving Star is Unilever. I’m presuming the $30 is after MFR Q’s and Publix Q’s. Can someone tell me if I’m correct (I’ve checked the FAQ section of the rebate program and can’t find anything regarding this) Thank You!!!

I LOVE, LOVE Publix! I have been shopping at Publix for nearly 30 years (in Jax, FL and now in GA). Not only for the BOGO’s and stacking but their employees are friendly and helpful. I have several stores (Ingles, Kroger and Food Depot-where I purchase my meat) very close to my house and work. I will hit Walmart during my lunch hour with or without coupons. I shop at Publix mainly for the BOGO’s with or without coupons because you are allowed to purchase just the one item. But why do that when it is half priced? I really like they allow stacking coupons. One week I saved $40.00 just with coupons that included the combination of their coupon with the manufacturer’s. If you have 2 coupons for the same item, they allow you to use 2 of their coupons along with them for the same product. I believe they have narrowed it down as to how many you can use but I only buy what I actually need and use. Anyway, saving that amount doesn’t happen every week but once in a while is a great feeling! These are items I definitely use and not buy just to buy because that wouldn’t save me money just to have them not being used! Target also allows stacking. I may hit them during my lunch hour. I mainly purchase dog food when they have a Target coupon and I can use it with the manufacturer’s. BTW, the Pet Smart next to Target will take their coupon if I see Pet Smart has the brand of dog food on sale. My Publix does not take Target since they are not in the close vicinity of them. But they will take the other stores in the area (Ingles and Kroger). I stopped shopping at Kroger many years ago when they stopped stacking and then doubling. I’ll continue shopping at Publix as long as they allow the stacking and BOGO’s. Also, I get confused at my Kroger store where everything is. Shopping at Publix is a PLEASURE!

There might be some $1/1 Red’s Burrito manufacturer blinkie coupons in some stores. I saw some today. When paired with the $1/1 store coupon from the Game Day Favorites booklet, it would make the burritos free.

I assume our Bilo still is…I go to one in West Columbia, Emanuel Church/Old Barnwell…I guess i could call and ask….I just dont want to schedule a trip and be wrong.. :(
