Christmas in July

July 17, 2017

When the weather heats up, I find myself longing for the coolness of my studio.  What better way than to get a jump start on creating your Christmas cards now?
It is super easy to make beautiful cards to share using a few papers, embellishments and a little watercolor.

I used beautiful papers, stickers, dies and watercolors by Melissa Frances. I love the softness of this card using watercolors with the bold reds.

I hope you enjoyed a little Christmas inspiration... I can almost hear the Christmas carols now!

Wishing you a wonderful day, dear friends.

Good Friends Card

June 29, 2017

Hello ribbon lovers!  Today, I am sharing a sweet card using beautiful ribbon, lace and flowers by Really Reasonable Ribbons.
I used one of the gorgeous blue ribbons from the Ocean Breeze Ribbon Club Assortment.
I love the dainty Debra Natural Crochet Lace.  It creates a sweet accent to the vintage image.  Next I tucked the Mixed White and Pink Sweetheart Blossoms.

I hope you enjoyed this sweet and easy card.

Recipe Card

June 28, 2017

This Recipe Card that I created using the products from Melissa Frances, brings makes wonderful memories...
Some of the sweetest times I remember growing up, is spending time in the kitchen with my mom whipping up a batch of baked goodies.
The hum of the mixer was music to our ears. After the batter was mixed and poured into the pan, we girls would line up to lick the beaters. So many sweet memories in the kitchen.

Scrapbook your Heritage Photos

June 23, 2017

It is easy to scrapbook your current photos, but don't forget to document your heritage photos too.
For years, I painstakingly tried to scrapbook my albums in chronological order.  Now, I give myself freedom to scrapbook what is inspiring to me at the time and slip them into my albums.

Now, you can find heritage album pages intermixed with current layouts.  I love mixing these different layouts as it gives a better glimpse into our family.
