It is a delayed egress Emergency exit door. It is only supposed to be used in an emergency or fire drill. The wording is stupid. The door is only supposed to open after 15 seconds of constant pushing but since it din't you just discovered a code violation.

Thanks for the explanation. It’s literally the door into the medical offices, so it’s weird that it’s like that.

This is at a local medical office. I pushed and the door didn’t open. I kept pushing and the alarm sounded but the door still didn’t open.

I asked an employee what the sign means, and she explains that it means DO NOT push on the door because if you do, an alarm will sound. Regardless, the door will not open. The Fire Department made them put the sign there and they’re not allowed to alter it in any way.

FYI: we have a subreddit here called “Tulpas” that consists of people who hear friendly voices that they interpret to be spirits who they share their body with.

To be honest I think how you interpret characters like that says something about your politics. When women defend Serena I assume they must identify with right-leaning politics some way. When people defend fascists I assume they're at least fascist sympathizers. I'm not surprised there are more fascist sympathizers watching a show like Man in the High Castle than there are right-wingers and fascists watching a show like THT. THT is overwhelmingly marketed toward women, for one, and women lean more liberal. Sci-fi in general is seen as a "guy thing" and there are a lot of alt-right guys on sites like this.

Fascists are pretty reliably misogynists, too, so THT is kryptonite to them.

Honestly I've seen whole groups of (mostly) women on Facebook discussing how much they love Fred, and would enjoy being able to be his handmaid and not have control over their lives....they're out there, but thankfully they don't seem to be here

I was honestly puzzled about this sign, which is in a medical office near me. I wanted in so I pushed. The door is locked and will not open. The alarm sounded within a few seconds (not 15), and a nurse came and told me what the sign is supposed to mean: don't push on the door, it won't open but you'll set off an alarm.

They know that it doesn't make sense but the Fire Department gave them the sign and they're not allowed to change it in any way so it remains.

It’s not just an inability to feel empathy. They also don’t care much about right and wrong, don’t feel guilty, and have low fear so don’t worry about punishment. They don’t have a conscience. Their emotions are shallow and they have a high need for excitement. So they take a lot of risks, and they are manipulative.

Answer:

It’s being argued that they’re largely responsible for the opioid addiction and overdose epidemic in the US due to their aggressive promotion of the drug, their efforts to convince of doctors to prescribe it, their messaging that it’s safe and non-addictive, and their distortions to conceal how addictive it is. They can get infected, so that could be why it’s worse than other times. You may have had some bacteria on your skin or the razor that time. Recommendation: see if laser hair removal is right for you.

Yes, true. He was particularly close with his German Shepherd, Blondi, who he killed just before he committed suicide.

Hermann Göring was also fond of animals and had a huge animal park.

Some people are fond of animals because they have a lot of empathy. Others are fond of animals because they see them as powerful creatures to identify with and who are extensions of themselves. Or they like unwavering devotion and obedience of those they see as lesser than themselves.
