South Park set its targets on Hollywood, specifically Disney, mocking how the industry and company shapes film, TV and music to avoid Chinese censors in order to have art shown in the country.
[insert obligatory /r/movies "Disney sucks" comment]
how do you watch 162 movies in a theatre in a year, I barely watch that many in one year.
I just really like it. I usually go every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sometimes Thursday.
I'm at 134 so far this year so should beat last year's record/personal best easily.
Whats your movie of the year this year and are you counting repeat viewings?
The Farewell is number one for sure, then Transit, Apollo 11, Last Black Man in San Francisco, Wild Rose, The Mustang, Ad Astra, and Journey to a Mother's Room.
I haven't seen any movie twice this year so far.

do you ever just look back at your comments and realize how negative/shitty of a person you are?
like, damn, just looking at your comments for a few minutes depresses the shit out of me. i like to think that a couple years down the road you're gonna snap out of this rut you're in and and you'll look back at this time of your life and say "what the fuck was i thinking?"

The Lost City of Z I would highly recommend.
If you want to watch a low-ish budget, interesting, alien invasion film with a unique perspective that keeps you engaged/intrigued the whole time, watch 10 Cloverfield Lane.
If you want to watch a low-ish budget alien invasion film that will bore you out of your mind for 2 hours and make you question every decision made during production of the movie, watch Captive State.
Didn’t he just move over one car? When he is standing in front of the white car the other car is in the background. It’s a bit of a jarring edit, but explainable it seems.
except that it happens in the span of .5 seconds and the white car comes out of nowhere...
