Happy Tuesday, r/Nationals. This is your scheduled weekly thread.

I come bearing the greatest present of all: The Washington Nationals are World Series champions.

Here's what's in the news:

• LHP Fernando Abad returns to the Nats on a one-year deal.

In other news:

• Tired of actually having to search for postseason highlights? There's a playlist for that.

• Former Nats Great Gio Gonzalez signs with the White Sox.

• Former Nats Great Tyler Clippard signs with the Twins.

• More rumors that the Nats are aggressively pursuing 3B Josh Donaldson.

• The Nats have, like, no prospects.

• Stephen Strasburg hears the word "threesome," reacts appropriately.

• Good guy Howie Kendrick turned down more money from the Rays to return to the Nats.

• LHP Patrick Corbin violates the terms of his contract.
