25th is a Friday this year, which means as Boxing Day falls on a Saturday the Monday will be a bank holiday. That's the 28th. The Friday will be New Years day so also a Bank Holiday. So if you book the 29th-31st off you'll have 10 days without work.

25th - Christmas Day, 26th and 27th Weekend, 28th Bank Holiday.

29th - 31st book Leave

1st Bank Holiday

2nd and 3rd Weekend.
