So we probably have a good enough distance now from the axing of the U20's comp at the end of the 2017 season to discuss the good and the bad outcomes of this decision.
Did pushing the young fellas into the state comps actually help to toughen them up in defence?
Were their free flowing attacking games (synonymous with the U20's comp) hurt by forcing them into structured setups too soon?
Do the state comps feel like they mean more now?
Does game day experience feel less exciting without these games kicking off the action?
Look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts and then inevitably seeing it all stolen for Fox Sports / Sporting News content!!
