<p>Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ), one of the most visited media sites in Switzerland, has produced a remarkable, immersive experience showing what the Swiss landscape could look like if climate change continues at the current rate. MapTiler Support was on hand whenever there was an issue, working with them to optimize the performance for as many devices as possible. Custom map tiles were developed in QGIS using the <a href="https://www.maptiler.com/qgis-plugin/" data-restricted="true">MapTiler Plugin</a> and further refined in Photoshop. These were then processed in <a href="https://www.maptiler.com/engine/" data-restricted="true">MapTiler Engine</a>, the resulting compact file sizes made for smooth performance on various devices. Additionally, the <a href="https://www.maptiler.com/sdk-javascript/" data-restricted="true">MapTiler SDK</a> facilitated seamless interaction and transitions, e.g. <a href="https://docs.maptiler.com/sdk-js/examples/scroll-fly-to/">the "fly-to" effect</a>, while maintaining high-resolution visuals and optimal load times, which is crucial for engaging users in this immersive climate change narrative.</p><p>The results speak for themselves.
