Hey and welcome to MHB Florida House!
We bought our home here in Florida in October of 2015, after being serial renters. Since we move a lot, (military life, ya know!) we’ve lived in multiple rentals over the years. Although we finally own a home here in Florida, my husband is still active duty so we know this won’t be our forever house. We are still having fun bringing it back to life (after foreclosure).
In the grand scheme of things, we move pretty quickly when it comes to home renovation and I can’t believe how far we’ve come in under a year.
Kitchen Before and After
Here’s the full kitchen makeover post.
We painted the cabinets for an inexpensive high impact change.
Breakfast Nook Before and After
We built a window seat that has lots of space for additional seating plus storage.
Living Room Before and After
Selecting a paint color for this huge space was a doozy. I talked about my process for picking the perfect neutral here.
Master Bedroom Before and After
We added a grid wall to this space for something not so permanent with high impact. See the full bedroom reveal here.
