Renaming your account allows you to change your username without affecting the rest of your journal.
Your account status, profile, entries, and other account-related information remain the same.

This tool allows you to rename an account YOU own. If you'd like to give someone a rename token, you can send them 1,500 tokens. To purchase and give LJ Tokens, please visit the LJ Token page to purchase and send LJ Tokens.
A Rename costs $15 OR 1,500 tokens for all accounts.
You can rename:
- An unregistered username
- The username of a deleted and purged journal
- The username of an account you own, as long as the email addresses and passwords match
