Requesting Books and Articles from Other Libraries
InterLibrary Loan can get you materials that the Tampa library does not have, including materials from other USF Libraries. Log in below to make your request via ILLiad, an automated Interlibrary loan/Document request system.
Examples of patrons without NetIDs:
- New College students, staff, and faculty
- Faculty proxy accounts with 22102 library ID numbers
- USF St. Petersburg special borrowers
Registration Information
You must specify a home campus (i.e. the de la Parte Institute (FMHI) Research Library, Sarasota, Shimberg Health Sciences Library, St. Petersburg, or Tampa) when registering to use ILLiad. You may only select one home campus. The home campus is determined by the location of your advisor and class registration, and not your actual home address. All requested items will be available through that campus.
Copyright Issues
Due to copyright issues, the library cannot retain articles. Therefore, it is important that you check materials electronically delivered for any problems, such as missing or illegible pages within one week of delivery. If you find any errors after that time frame, you will need to submit a new request for that article.
