Cuban Students Perform Big Band Jazz

Want to hear big band jazz with a Cuban accent performed by an outstanding ensemble of talented high school students from Havana? Then join us on Thursday, Jan. 5, when we present a concert featuring the gifted young players from Havana’s Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán, whose jazz orchestra will perform along with members of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band as part of their residency with the Preservation Hall Foundation.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is the nonprofit that owns the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. We use the proceeds from Jazz Fest, and other funds, for year-round programs to support our music and culture.
