2017 Courage in Journalism Award Ceremonies
Since its inception in 1990, IWMF has honored more than 100 women journalists from 56 countries as part of its Courage in Journalism Awards program. The 2017 award winners were recognized in person at ceremonies in New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles.
Hostile Environment and First Aid Training
The IWMF provides lifesaving Hostile Environment and First Aid Training (HEFAT) courses for women journalists. Since 2014, we have trained more than 400 journalists from diverse mediums, outlets, and levels of experience.
2018 Courage in Photojournalism Award The IWMF is seeking women photojournalists whose work inspires us to take action and better understand the world. Apply or nominate by January 19, 2018!
