At Philips, we have a long history of generating innovative ideas
And we’ve created technological solutions that have improved many people’s lives. However, we know that although innovation sparks new markets and even new industries, bringing these ideas to market can be difficult. Drawing on the ideas of others through licensing can make the process much easier and open up new business opportunities. And this is where licensing our intellectual property (IP) can make all the difference.

Philips has a rich and highly diverse IP portfolio
Our IP portfolio includes a large number of patents, trademarks, designs and copyrights and focusses on some of the most cutting-edge areas of technology such as healthcare, lighting and consumer well-being. Licensing our IP can help you speed up your time to market and open up completely new, unexplored business avenues. This is where Philips IP&S plays an important role, providing you with the tools and expertise necessary to fulfil your business ambitions.
