Could you use push-up pads inside of them? I found push-up pads made for swimsuits at target and figured the concept was the same, but that you would have to put fabric liners on the inside. Thanks! Bras can be <b><i>SO&nbsp;</i></b>expensive these days. I saw a single bra at Victoria's Secret going for 60$! As I have a big box full of fabric of all sorts, I can make a bra for about a quarter as the box was $5. On a&nbsp;separate&nbsp;note, I&nbsp;recognize&nbsp;the fabric from your panty&nbsp;tutorial! $60 for a Bra isn't that much or that bad at all for a bra. I'm a man who wears them every day from the age of 14 and I'm 34 now and even i know that. A good quality bra and this in my opinion is still not top of the line I pay between $130. to $200. for a quality bra. Yes Victoria secret yes looks nice and sometimes sexy but the quality just isn't there in this man who where's bra's opinion ;-) pay a little bit more and get a much better quality and beautiful bra.

<p>I'm sorry, but no sane person is going to spend 130-200$ on a bra. That's an extreme waste of funds for a product that level of complexity.</p><p>You are like the Gwyneth Paltrow of Bras. Most people don't want to even spend 60$ on a bra, you think they'll want to spend 130$? Do you think we just all casually have that kind of extra flow just sitting around? I could fix my car with that money. If I need bras, I'll stick to Lane Bryant and the freaking dollar store.</p>

<p>This is completely subjective and depends on size as well. Being in hard times financially of late I have gone to WalMart and tried on every single bra they have &quot;close&quot; to my size, not one worked. I do wear a strange size due to my recent weight gain (approx. 34 E-F depending on style) and I cannot even get a bra at majority of stores. The most reliable bras for me are from Nordstrom. The cheapest is $55-60 but my favorites are $80 easy. We are all entitled to our opinions, but assuming that anyone can get a bra wherever you to is just ignorant. I could not get anything at either place mentioned above (and yes, I've tried Lane Bryant-- they would have to be customized by a dressmaker and therefore the Nordstrom bras are &quot;cheaper.&quot;)</p>

((Elizabethp64))<br><br>I never said anything about anyone having to purchase a bra at any price I've only been saying what I pay for a good quality bra and I've been very polite and respectful I have not been ignorant as you mentioned at all. I've said repeatedly that if someone is happy with a bra from anywhere for whatever price range that that's fine I've also said that if you or anyone is happy with the bras that you get from wherever then that's great as long as you are happy with the bras you get then that's all that matters. I'm thinking that the last two responses that I've had to my original comment are more about the fact that like I said I am a man who wears bras and some of you don't like that or are uncomfortable with that but I really don't care what others think of the fact that I am a man who wears bras because as long as I'm comfortable with it then that should be all that matters because just because I wear bra's doesn't make me a bad person in any way at all.

<p>instead of using reclaimed or expensive purchased under wires. I use the plastic zip ties they come in a lot of sizes and you just cut off the lock mechanism part. When you cut it off just round the end so it wont poke you. They work great and you can buy packs of hundreds for what one pair of new under wires cost.</p>

60 bucks is a lot of money especially since we are technically suppose to buy new ones every few months. But it is normalish price for a bra to cost that much. Which I feel like this could help people with that. But for me it's more of a matter of size I'm slim but busty. I feel like the fashion industry wants to shame full bust women because they think all full bust women are heavy ( not saying that's a bad thing if you are ) but the designers often think if you are heavy you don't deserve beautiful looking things just ugly &quot;granny bras&quot; or no bras at all.

You did a stellar job. I am bad about taking pics of my work so ppl can follow but this tutorial is amazing! I have been making bras larger for at least 10 years but it was usually me reconstructing. I just had a <strong>LARGE</strong> reduction and I am only 3 month post op. I have dreamed of a day I could walk in a normal store and buy off the rack but find that may not happen any time soon if at all either. Your tutorial (while I can't use wire yet) is the first one that has given me hope that I can be sexy, have the fit I need, and not be in pain. I wanted to say thank you for posting the tutorial even if I can not use all of it this moment it really has given me inspiration to carry on in my trying to make the right one for me. <strong>TY</strong>

To make a pattern and not to cut the original, there's a easy way of using masking tape. I made a pare of jeans (I couldn't really lose that my &quot;only&quot; pare, so I had to) like this... Whit something as small as this, it's easy: Tape the desired area (cut the unwanted peaces out) in both peaces and tear it off. You could use it as it is, but I taped it to patter-paper (?). Cut out and compare if the pattern is the same... Alter if needed :)<br><br>Very nice and useful instructable!

OMG, this is FABULOUS!!! I spend thousands of dollars every year buying bras in the search for yet one more that will fit well and be comfortable (There's one wacoal that is perfecto for me). I have resorted to keeping a spreadsheet of all the styles I've tried and returned. But this! I will definitely be trying it. I keep saying I need a personal tailor because shopping off the rack makes me feel like a freak of nature. THANKS!
