Sons of Anarchy meets Lost
2 February 2017 | by See all my reviews

If you enjoyed either Sons of Anarchy and/or Lost, then you're in for a treat with Outsiders. This series brings in the best elements of both of these series. Sons of Anarchy elements are brotherhood, loyalty and betrayal. Lost is the unexpected twists in the multiple story lines and sometimes the writers are intentionally throwing you off course. There is a lot of slight-of-hand, so little details can seem trivial in the moment, but have purpose later on.

Overall, the character development is well-written, along with the multiple story lines that contribute towards the overarching story of the clan versus society. It is suspenseful and a new type of story that I really enjoyed.

The characters were developed enough that I was convinced it had to be based on real events. I even googled mountain people in Appalachia... I was really hoping there were clans up in those mountains still. Sadly, it is just really good fiction. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!
