This is one of the most enjoyable Family Films that I have seen in a long time. The animation was quite simply superb especially the surfing scenes. There were some absolutely hilarious moments in the movie too. One especially funny moment is when Zeek is helping Cody make a surf board. I also thought the characters who provided the voices were perfect. John Heder (fantastic in Napoleon Dynamite and Blades of Glory) was brilliant as Chicken Joe, as was Shia LaBeouf as Cody Maverick. I also thought Zooey Deschanel (brilliant in Elf)was great as Lani.The star for me though was Jeff Bridges who did a fantastic job as Zeek. I would recommend Surfs Up to everyone.
