Æon Flux is a mysterious and amoral secret agent from the country of Monica. Her motives or background are left unexplained, as are those of her antagonist/love, Trevor Goodchild. On her missions, she deals swift, bloody "justice" to all that oppose her. The second season episodes of this series were unique in that Aeon died at the end of every single episode. It's hard to beat predicessor's comments about this series. But what I can say is wow. Some of the best animation yet not very straight forward. But that's the way it is meant to be. It is Peter Chung's idea of a futuristic world. Yet, it is not to different from the one we live in. And talk about irony, Aeon Flux's main enemy is Trevor Goodchild, her lover. I think it is a good idea to have her die at the end of every episode b/c you see so many secret agents living on TV after all kinds of missions. Are they all that invinsible? This TV show was a cult favorite that didn't stay on very long, but I don't think there will be anything else like it.
