The Program

Soul Projects gives adults with special needs the opportunity to be active, productive and most importantly, included members of society. Soul Projects offers four distinct programs: The Soul Studio, Soul Cafe Training, Restaurant Skills Class, and Friendship Bakery all offer a tailored approach to each individual participant.

Soul Studio Program

Artists will be introduced to a variety of art making processes specific to their interests. In addition to this, artists will be designing, creating, and taking a lead role in the selling of works of art and promotional items that will be available in our community.

Soul Cafe Trainees

The Soul Cafe Trainee program is set up to provide employment opportunities to individuals with varying needs. The trainees learn the necessary skills to be employed in the Soul Cafe and other food industry venues.

Restaurant Skills Class

Individuals will work on organizational skills necessary to complete tasks in a restaurant. They will have the opportunity to learn and use commercial equipment. In addition, the participants will practice appropriate social skills in a restaurant.

Friendship Bakery

A transitional program which is dedicated to preparing its participants for securing and maintaining a job in the community, specifically within the restaurant business.
