Saving and Sharing for Christ
One thing we can be certain of as we face adversity, God is more interested in changing us and our hearts than changing our circumstances. We need to make an inward change before we will start to see things happening. We also need to remember that God sees the BIG picture and our job is just to TRUST.
So many times we feel a tugging on our heart to do something (and we are certain it is from God), but we are hesitant to do it, because our human eyes take over and our minds and we doubt we can do it, or wonder why we should do it. But our job is obedience. If we know God placed it on our heart, then we should do it knowing God will work it all out. Our obedience may be a way of sharing a blessing with someone else and planting a seed in their life. Today, ask God what he wants you to do and be obedient.
God’s mercies are new every single day, so if you don’t like the way your life is going, change it. We have control of our choices and we can choose to change things. It is NEVER too late!!
So many times we pray for things and become discouraged because God is not answering the way we “want” him to answer them. What we forget is God can see the BIG picture and delays our short-term gratification because of the long-term greatness that is about to come our way. In all things have patience knowing God is in complete control.
God’s plans are so much better and BIGGER than our plans. That is why it is so important to dream God-sized dreams. Dreams that seem impossible in human eyes, but with God eyes, all things are possible. No matter what you are facing, know it is going to be better than okay.
There is so much tragedy and heartbreak going on in this world, but when we keep our eyes lifted to Jesus, we can get through anything. We were never promised life would be easy, but we were promised God would be with us always. Today no matter what you are facing, know God is right beside you and keep your eyes glued to him and him alone.
Isn’t that the truth so many of us work God into our schedules rather than working our schedules around God. God needs to be the primary focus of every day of our lives. Our life is a gift from him, the creator, today spend some time seeking his wisdom for your life.
Philippians 4:12 says “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” We need to be content in all situations at all times. Rejoice in the Lord always. Scripture does not say to only rejoice when things are going as we had planned, but to rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS!! Today, no matter what you are going through, choose Joy and REJOICE!!
God wants and deserves our BEST. So many times we spend a few minutes in prayer in the morning and at night because our schedule is too full and we are in a rush. If our life is too busy to spend time with Christ, then we need to slow down, because the MOST important thing in our life is Christ and aligning our lives with his. Today, take time to pray and meditate seeking God’s will for your life.
So many times our dreams and plans are limited by our “small vision” when using human eyes, but when we put on our “Jesus eyes” and look at how BIG our God is, we can dream God-Sized Dreams. Don’t allow your vision to cloud out what is possible with Christ. Today, start Dreaming God-Sized Dreams.
