A Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for more than 30 years, Steve Wozniak helped shape the computing industry with his design of Apple’s first line of products. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer, Inc. with Wozniak’s Apple I personal computer. The following year, Wozniak introduced his Apple II personal computer, featuring a CPU, keyboard, color graphics and floppy disk drive. The Apple II was integral in launching the personal computer industry. Wozniak currently serves as chief scientist for Fusion-io and published his New York Times best-selling autobiography, iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon, in 2006. His television appearances include Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Dancing with the Stars, and The Big Bang Theory.
The president of the United States awarded Wozniak the National Medal of Technology in 1985, the highest honor bestowed on America’s leading innovators. He is a recipient of the Award for Technology, The Economy and Employment, for his contributions to the world of computing and improving grade school education, and of the Hoover Medal for “outstanding extra-career services by engineers to humanity.” He is also an inductee of the Inventors Hall of Fame. Cancellation Policy
Full conference refunds will be given if cancelled by midnight on April 21.
Fifty percent of refund will be given if cancelled by midnight on May 5.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 5.
You may transfer your registration to another person at any time prior to the start of the conference.

An optional golf tournament is available for conference attendees and their guests. The event is complimentary, and registration is required. Transportation will be provided to and from the course.

Effective until April 21, a block of rooms at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention has been reserved for FIS Connect 2016 attendees at a special FIS rate. Reservations made after April 21 are on a space- and rate-available basis. To make a reservation at the special FIS rate, refer to the Hotel and Travel tab on the left. Room reservations and hotel charges (including phone, incidentals and meals, except those indicated on the conference schedule) are the responsibility of the attendee. All hotel changes and cancellations must be done by calling your hotel directly.

Conference attire is business casual. For men, we suggest a collared shirt, dress slacks, polo shirts and sometimes a sport coat. For women, dress slacks or skirts with stylish tops and sweaters or blazers are appropriate. Temperatures in the meeting rooms can vary, so it is recommended that attendees be prepared with a jacket or sweater.
