Dear Supersport.
I am extremely disappointed and disillusioned by yours and Multichoice as a whole f...or your continuous and blatant disregard for those who are in effect paying both your bills as well as your salaries.
As you may know but are apparently unconcerned about, many of your "valued customers" have voiced their concerns in multiple platforms and on multiple occasions about the continued price increases on packages whilst at the same time getting less and less that they want. So far I have noted the following NOT to be shown just to name a few:
- English League Cup (Carabao Cup)
- FA Cup
- Community Shield
- WTA Tour Events
- Greatest Royal Rumble etc
All without so much as an explanation and all the while constantly repeating the same things 2-3 times a day at times.
Very poor service indeed.
Now, whilst I DO understand that there are extremely high costs for television rights for us in SA to enjoy global sports coverage, YOU as a brand also need to consider the following:
- You continually increase prices to the point that viewing is becoming a niche luxury only for the wealthy as opposed to all people in our country
- As previously noted, you fail to broadcast the most requested events, all the while with little or no explanation at the very least
- From my experience, you appear to pay large sums for ever larger sets, 3-d graphics and payments to "global stars" to commentate and analyze matches.
If the 3rd point in particular is occurring, this would surely indicate that there CERTAINLY IS at least some money to go around? Why not then prioritize funding to pay the TV rights to have the shows that your customers would like to see be aired instead of improving your self-image only?
Now, please do not misunderstand, I have been a lover of your network for years and am still planning on continuing, however I feel it is my responsibility as a customer to voice my concerns, especially when your actions as a brand could very well lead to people canceling subscriptions and going the route of rather signing up to uncapped internet and simply streaming what they want to watch online.
For a brand as large as yourself to push its own customers to the point of leaving you and effectly shutting you down would be an extremely sad waste of the hard work and potential that you have taken to build the business up.
Please do consider this carefully going forward.
Kind Regards, Ещё

SuperSport Football this comes with great sadness and a huge reluctance to continue with the subscri...ption with you holders Multichoice. It’s the third time in two seasons now that your management will announce one deal(Serie A) with the compromising of the Quality Product of the brand(EPL) you’ve grown in your viewers. I don’t understand why latest season the League Cup wasn’t televised and now expanding to other layers of English football - Community Shield. I know these comments/messages are commonly ignored. However, I hope you find it that we subscribers of your content aren’t fully happy with your decisions of selecting which content is good for us or not - replacing the Community Shield with Bayern vs Man Utd game friendly match (unacceptable). Please please sort out the League Cup and please do inform us on time about your program schedule regarding EPL. Ещё

At only 28-years old, Ricky Schroeder made the decision to leave behind the sport he has loved since he was 6-years-old. And with that, he’s had to embrace the daunting task of starting all over again. Only this time, the circumstances aren’t entirely the same.

With his global Movember successes, as well as being a pioneer in YouTube content, Anton Taylor's story is one most South African students know all too well. But beneath the lights & perfectly manscaped facial hair, there was another story that not many were privy to.
