I am a local who lives in Downtown, plus born and raised in La Jolla.
My friend had a birthday party at this nightclub,
The guys at the door were so amateur and giggling at people walking by when I arrived.
I talked one of the doormen, and he said I was too late to get in on the guest list. Ok... fine. I missed it by a few minutes.
How much is cover?!
$20 for girls and even with only about 1.5 hours left until the venue closed so a shotty deal.
I told him I would prefer to spend my $ at the bar buying my friend's and I drinks instead of a cover. Can he work with me please?
He proceeds to demand to ask how much $ I will spend.
It's none of his business first off, but yes I would be buying maybe at least 4-5 drink at what.. $12 piece? So me not wanting to pay a cover when I was originally
He was so rude I walked, so not only did he get no extra cover from me, but lost the $ I wanted to spend on fun and drinks. Plus I'm a local and will now never recommend this douchy place ever to my colleagues
Note all the good reviews on here for this nightclub are from our-of-tow

Being new in the San Diego area, I've been searching for a place like Parq! I came here for the first time during Gaslamp's Mardi Gras event on Saturday for the Finale Party and had SO much fun. Great performers
