Dreams are a confusing thing.
It starts as a spark inside you,
but then society does its best, smothering the fire that starts within you....
“This will never work" they'll tell you.
“You'll get hurt”
“So many people failed, what makes you think you have what it takes?”
It took me time to wash up my insecurities and admit to myself that this is who I wanna be.
When I finished high school I still walked like a hunchback wearing black sweatshirts believing the words people told me. I'm not worthy of my dreams. Not worthy of love.
Only when they faded away, I realised I'm missing all the fun.
Seriously. There's no other healthy choice, but living your dream.
