These are handmade by our good friend Daisy Tainton ( @deathvitamins ) and crafted from Mexican brass Sacred Heart of our Lady of Sorrow milagros augmented by french jet beads.
Milagros--Spanish for miracle--are religious folk charms that are used to request or commemorate a saints assistance. They are common in Mexico and throughout the Mexican diaspora. The image might be... used to specify a literal medical issue--for example, a heart attack--or symbolically, as in romantic troubles.
