It was an absolute privilege to hang out with the Bishops of Australia before the public Mass in The Domain on Saturday. And you'd be hard pushed to find two more sincere and genuinely pastoral men than these two, Bishop Terry Brady (Sydney, at right) and Mgr Harry Entwistle (Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross).
Do you know where this Archbishop is from? His city will be hosting the next ACYF in 2019. Here Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB talks about how he thinks #ACYF17 went. (Pst, he's from the Archdiocese of Perth.)

Archbishop Fisher's homily at the closing Mass of #ACYF17 was something else - sincere, honest, interesting and uplifting (pic by maestro photographer Giovanni Portelli). Here's the link to the Mass and pre-Mass proceedings. The homily begins at 3:24:44 - http://bit.ly/2yTMFC4

#ACYF2017 is officially over, but the journey has just begun. Thanks for an awesome three days. See you in Perth in 2019.
Here are some of the best moments. We hope you enjoy.
Just in case you were under the impression that everything had been solemn at #ACYF17, in just over an hour's time scenes like this will be happening in The Domain. It'll be the biggest public Mass in Sydney since WYD 08 (music begins at 4pm and Mass at 6.30pm). Tens of thousands of Catholics in the heart of the city. How cool is that!?

Extraordinary scenes at #ACYF17 tonight as more than 10,000 young people dropped to their knees in Adoration. Story here - http://bit.ly/2AmyeJc
Tomorrow, festival goers have another morning of activities before making their way across Sydney in pilgrimage to the public Mass in The Domain. Join us. It is going to be epic.

Plenty more festival action yet to come on day 2 of #ACYF17. "Building Lego Like a Boss", a session with leaders from the Eastern Catholic Churches and Melinda Tankard Reist, who is drawing huge crowds, among others. Perhaps the most popular performer of the festival, Matt Maher, will give a public interview at 4.30pm, then there's the plenary tonight! In the meantime, here's what's been turning heads at the Encounter Dome.

What an awesome time this morning's plenary at #ACYF17 turned out to be. Emily Wilson spoke, sang and then provided the young crowd with a lesson that will last them a lifetime. Story here - http://bit.ly/2BerInE

Hi ACYF-goers, yesterday was massive but today might prove to be even bigger. US headliner Emily Wilson is speaking - and singing - today. Steve Angrisano is back, and there are a couple of other things that might really challenge and help you to live a bigger and better life. Read more - http://bit.ly/2BPihbn
Another powerful day lies ahead for the 20,000 young people at ACYF tomorrow. US singer, author and inspirational speaker Emily Wilson will take to the stage after wowing crowds in her session on femininity. Popular Australian musician Gen Bryant is playing and the founders of Orange Sky Laundry will share their insights with young people eager to make a difference in the world. Check out some highlights from today!

Hey ACYF-goers, it's been a stellar morning and afternoon, but there's lots more ahead, from the fun and curious to the exploratory and serious: 'Does My Guardian Angel Like Memes'; 'Same-sex Attraction'; 'Gaming, Social Media and Pop Culture' and live music among them. And then tonight, the next plenary - more Matt Maher, more Sr Hilda. And another US headliner will take the stage, Steve Angrisano. It's going to be amazing! #ACYF17 #SpreadingJoy #NewHorizons

#ACYF17 went off in a big way this morning. From spiritual "surfing" to Hanging with Sr Hilda, the Spirit made itself well and truly known. And Archbishop Fisher challenged the youth to be "spiritual flamethrowers". Read more - http://bit.ly/2nCapXF
