This has really helped me improve my writing by explaining to me concepts I vaguely understood using... tv and movies that I understood very well. Heck I always wondered why recent Marvel movies didn't make me feel the emotional stakes and then I got to know abotu Bathos and I started adding or taking away Bathos out of certain areas in my writing where it felt useful or useless.
So many things have been explained to me; I re-watch most of these videos consistently to put foremost the ideas conveyed and best help me understand why I should write my stories in one way and not another; don't get me wrong it's still my writing and ideas coming through but knowing a better understanding of what makes other writers succeed is helping me succeed as well! Criticism done well. A channel perfectly suited to instructing both readers and writers in craft, so...lidly rooted in concrete, popular examples. In terms of form, visuals include more than just clips, using models and diagrams to illustrate the narration. All around awesome stuff - keeping the bar high for video essays. Mehr anzeigen

These videos are informative and insightful. You learn something new with each video. Not only that..., but they're also very entertaining. The use of visuals in particular are great at getting the point across in every video. Keep up the good work ! Mehr anzeigen
