Two short weeks ago, a beautiful, kind and special soul, Shmuel Karnowsky, the son of my dear cousin Osher and Rivka Karnowsky, tragically passed away in his sleep.

To honor Shmuel's memory, we are dedicating a special class each Wednesday in Chovat Halevavot, the classical work on Jewish ethics, authored by Rabbi Bachya ben Yosef ibn Paquda, and Tanya, the fundamental text of Chabad Chassidic philosophy, written b…y the movement’s founder, Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi.
The class will begin today, July 17, and continue throughout the summer.
It is noteworthy, that as a community we feel a special connection to Shmuel as he spent the last two Rosh Hashanas of his life helping us over here at Chabad.
Time: Wednesdays at 8:30-9:30 PM
Location: Chabad, 13411 Arctic Avenue
Light refreshments will be served.
