Sooooo...*this* is happening! We'll be talking Halloween costume DIY disasters, neighbors who hand out toothbrushes instead of Snickers (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE), those plastic masks we all used to wear with the pre-cut eye holes that poked your tear ducts, and more — all while taste-testing the best and worst booze to pair with the candy you steal from your kids. This book is TOO FUNNY, and soooo relatable if you've ever had annoying coworkers or a nightmare boss...which is, like, everyone (but if any of my current coworkers see this, OF COURSE I'M NOT REFERRING TO YOU).

I just found my daughters' plastic styling head; apparently instead of doing makeovers they've been practicing horror movie makeup, which incidentally is exactly how I came to be a 41 year old woman who doesn't know how to apply eyeliner unless I'm using to to draw some kickass fake chest hair on a Halloween pirate. #likeagirl

Frankly, I'd take this over the "stop touching things with your bare butt" phase we're in now.

Have you seen this lamb???

It belongs to a little girl, whose mom says, "We were getting off a train ride, and in a moment of distraction carrying three bags and a sleeping kid, I didn't check for her lamb. This is a little old thing she has had her whole life, and has managed to not lose on her own."

YOU KNOW HOW IT IS, so if you happen to see this lil' lamb (they were on California Zephyr on Amtrak) or know where a similar one might be found, please comment below and make a little girl ridiculously happy. 😘

I'm excited to be on Mommyish, spilling all the things I'm assuming babysitters lie about (since things can't have changed THAT much since I was a babysitter myself). 😉

I don't know the exact number of times I'll catch this Poppy head piñata out of the corner of my eye and think there's a murderer in the dining room, but it's at least 473 so far.
