I just wanted to thank the staff at the Hippodrome for being so kind to us at Paw Patrol Live today. My three year old was terrified of the noise of the show and darkness of the theater, so my husband... and I were watching the performance from a tv near the bar. A really nice Hippodrome employee set us up in the Lexus Lounge to watch the show on a big tv. I wish I knew her name. All I know is she was holding a lot of cameras when she took us to the lounge. A few other employees interacted with us too, and were all so sweet. I felt like they were really trying to salvage our experience, and it meant a lot! הצג עוד

I attended School of Rock on Friday, March 23rd at 8:00PM. I purchased CORCLV seats BB 101 and 102.

I am an avid theater goer and believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the arts. While I k...new that the seats were limited view, I did not realize that I would have no view. I am extremely disappointed in the Hippodrome as the seats I purchased should not have been listed as an option. I am 4'11'' and I could not see one thing. I spoke with one of the ushers who told me that my non-existent view was the reason my tickets were so "cheap". In my estimation, $49 per ticket is not cheap and his comment further incensed me. I truly believe I wasted my money as my boyfriend and I could not see the show that we paid for. I urge the Hippodrome to remove those seats from their seating chart as I would not want somebody else to have the same experience. הצג עוד

Please stop selling and allowing people to bring boxes of popcorn, bags of snacks, etc. into the theater!! This is not a movie theater or the circus. The noise and crunching behind us at today's perfo...rmance of An American in Paris was totally disrupted by this...we couldn't hear half of the dialogue. Some people just don't have theater etiquette. We paid good $$ for our seats. get 9t together Hippodrome! הצג עוד

I loved the show....afterall it was The Lion King...well the 2nd half that i could actually enjoy. I had an awful experience with the usher, Roland. Being the first people in the whole theatre that ni...ght with a school he told us to sit in 2 specific rows, not by seat number....10 minutes before the show starts he comes back and starts yelling at me to move because there were 4 people who had actually bought seats that we were sitting in. He went as far as to tell me i was going to ruin the whole show because I wasn't moving fast enough for him, but yet there were a ton of others still finding seats, and i had a whole row that needed to move down before I could. He even pushed my arm trying to get me to move faster.....the worst experience I had ever encountered in my life while a bunch of middle school aged children were watching. He taught them a lovely lesson that night...absolutely ridiclious!! Icing on the cake, to top the night off after a complaint was made the manager met me with a water bottle for the incovience....i had to laugh. הצג עוד

I Loved the Motown Show.. The singers and the dancers was Awesome.. I took my parents with me and they said they Loved the show also.. It's a must see especially if you love Motown music

Are you aware that Box office sales has apparently over booked your lion king shows ?! Tickets were bought in march and we just find out today that our tickets were overbooked ?...!
Edit- so we bought our tickets through a third party vendor named box office ticket centers . Like Ticketmaster and everyone else they are third party sales. They apparently did a pre sale of tickets that they never had ! Lesson learned the hard way ... always buy your tickets for theater shows directly through broadway of America. This was not the hippodromes or broadway of America's fault , but they did save the day. See below. הצג עוד

The theater is uncomfortable for the money and the service is poor. I have reached out to the GM several times concerning an issue that was well founded and have been ignored and basically told " too... bad". For the money spent at this venue, I expected better service and for mgmt to be more accommodating and responsive. Not a place I will be visiting again. הצג עוד

We had to exchange tickets for The Color Purple because my husband had surgery and could not go to the show. The Broadway Across America staff was extremely helpful in working with us to complete the... process. Even more impressive was receiving flowers the next day from Broadway at the Hippodrome wishing my husband a speedy recovery! As 12 year subscribers to the Hippodrome, we have always enjoyed the great customer service. This very thoughtful gesture takes service to a whole new level. Thanks Hippodrome! הצג עוד

My children and I visited the theater last December to see The Lion King. We had a fantastic time. Staff was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I love attending shows at the Hippodrome. It is an absolutely beautiful theatre. The 2 stars are based on Love Never Dies. I was really looking forward to this sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. I ...would go back to see Phantom over and over, but I would not recommend Love Never Dies. It was a dark story and did not seem to make sense. I did not enjoy the Coney Island Circus scenes. Regarding the theatre, the air condition was not up to par on Saturday afternoon and the seats are very tight in the balcony. הצג עוד

David Blain show - The auditorium got very warm, the air conditioning system is not good at all. All the seats are on such a slight incline if you are not super tall you have no chance of seeing the s...how. The video overhead was continually splitting or getting pexeliated. Also the bartender's are really bad, they don't explain drink prices correctly and way over charge, they get easily frustrated and don't know how to make simple drinks. Love Never Dies was a spectacular show. The lyric changes coming over from Germany were incredible to finally hear in English. I didn't think the Australian production could be topped but now I realiz...e I was mistaken, especially in regards to the finale. Changing the instrumental piece in the search for Gustave to a reprise of an earlier song really helped to add an air of suspense and drama to the scene. Made my first trip to visit this venue this past Friday night. I totally agree it is beautiful however the seats are tight, really tight! I had my knee replaced about 6 weeks ago and there was no way... possible for me to sit in that seat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours for a show. There was absolutely no where or no way I could move my leg just to change the position of my knee for a few minutes! I would have been stuck!!! Lucky for us they had not completely sold out and my friend went to the box office to see if we could change seats and we were fortunate enough to be able to get two aisle seats (with the aisle on the correct side, the left) but we had to sit behind on another. Which was okay and it did enable me to sit through the event. I could straighten my leg and bend it as needed. Be aware if you have leg or knee issues! הצג עוד

I don't know how often they host rock and metal acts, but if this is a rare occasion, they should seriously consider hosting more. It's an odd spot for some considering it feels like an opera house bu...t compared to some venues, they offer a fantastic viewing experience.

I've been to some venues where they offer VIP seating but all this really means is "pay more money and you can be a drunk obnoxious a**hole all you want". This venue is really elegant and the staff are wonderful. הצג עוד

Your theater is lovely! I found the seats comfortable and we had such a great view. I sat in the orchestra but looking around, it definitely seems like no matter where you sit, you'd be able to see we...ll. The seats are staggered and the incline is graduated just enough so that patrons in front of you don't obstruct view (without it feeling like you are sitting on a hill). That is a hallmark of a great theater design! The ushers were polite and efficient. The ceilings were also absolutely STUNNING. The only thing we didn't like was the popcorn; it was cold, rather dry popcorn, and fresh would be nicer. הצג עוד

The building and decor is really nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the concession service was extremely slow, with long lines to get a beverage. I waited 15 min to try and get a s...oda during intermission and had to get out of line, without a drink, to go back in the theatre because they were starting the second half of the show. הצג עוד

Went with my friend to see Something Rotten, 4/22/17. Absolutely LOVED the show. Prior to, we had reservations at The Hipp Cafe. Our food was great and the staff quite pleasant; however, when we firs...t arrived, it was a bit confusing. I found our reserved table, seated ourselves and ordered our food and drinks at the bar, not bad mind you; just not something I'm used to. The theater itself was very nostalgic and we loved the pictures showing the history of Baltimore displayed throughout the theater.
