I had a great experience here today. In recent years, I've let my Judaism slip out of practice. I fe...lt guilty, but out of shame or fear of judgement I kept slipping further and further away. Today, I entered Everything Jewish and the extremely helpful and nice gentleman helped me pick out exactly what I needed: shabbos candlesticks and a beautiful kiddish cup. As if that weren't enough, he told me not to live in guilt. He said it's great I felt compelled to re-engage in my Jewish life, but not feel bad about having let it slip. I felt so much better having not been judged and I'm so excited for the upcoming shabbos, Purim, and Pesach next month!

The best part for me of "Everything Jewish" is to be able to meet with the Rabbi. He is so warm, wel...coming and devoted to everyone who reaches out to him. I just moved to Portland and it was so comforting to be able to meet. I also enjoyed their Jewish book collection. עוד

They have a good selection of items and are so helpful! Highly recommend it.
