I use to come here quite often when I lived closer by. Tonight I took my elderly mother to watch a m...ovie and I was greatly disappointed as we sat through a two hour movie with what it seemed, no heating. As we entered the cinema there was a basket full of blankets (which I respectfully declined given hygiene issues) which should have been a sign to me that it was going to be a cold experience! On departing I complained to whom I was told was the manager and he responded with 'nobody else complained that it was cold'. He also claimed that the heating was set to 18degrees. Firstly, I'm not sure that that setting is sufficient on a 7 degree night, nor am I convinced that the heating was actually on.
Absolutely not good enough. Had I known the heating wouldn't be on, I would not have purchased tickets- myself nor my elderly mother are interested in sitting through a movie in the freezing cold on a winter night.
The response to my complaint was not good enough nor were the conditions. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Ещё
