Well thought of and well laid out. I would recommend everyone start form Level 1 and work their way up to level 3 and finish up with the iMax movie or do that to rest in between. We did it as the last... thing and it was well worth it. Stayed all day from 10am till closing. Forgot to eat lunch on time so missed out on the cafe. Had a quick bite at the cafe express instead. הצג עוד

The museum itself is pretty great, in a lot of ways. But the food service is pretty awful. On an incredibly busy day, the cafeteria closed at 3pm! Lots of people looking for food, and lots of kids.... The small restaurant ran out of food, but we weren’t allowed to eat the food available in the cafeteria. The museum really need to rethink what it has available. If you don’t want to feed people, just say that. Don’t offer it in a half-assed manner. הצג עוד

The Dream Works Exhibit Is a wonderful experience for All Ages!!! My 24 year old son, who has always been interested in animation loved it! So many movies displayed that had wonderful memories! This e...xhibit should be advertised in more ways, we saw an ad on the back of a bus. Also, more items should be available in the gift shop! I will be back bringing more visitors! הצג עוד

I have been eagerly anticipating visiting the revamped history hall since I really enjoyed the old hall and the immersive quality of the exhibits; made you feel what it may have been like to be in var...ious places in Canada at the time. Finally got the opportunity to visit today.
AWFUL!
Rather than making a good thing better, they have totally lost the magic here. The old exhibits should have been declared heritage assets and saved. הצג עוד

Beautiful building, spectacular collection and fantastic for kids. Worth the price of a membership and a perfect escape on cold Ottawa days. Current special exhibits by DreamWorks and HotWheels are ex...cellent.

I used to love this Museum. Had an annual membership and took the kids regularly. This was my first time back since the revamp. I wanted to leave halfway through... whoever is responsible for this ...should be vilified. What made it engaging and interesting in the past has been completely eliminated. I didn't check the Children's Museum within it, hoping they left its charm intact.

Not sure why I can't give it zero stars but I would if I could. What a waste of a beautiful building/setting and apparently $30 million. הצג עוד

i'm really not easy to satisfy, but this museum was remarkable! Everything was great: from the selection of the exhibits, to the way they were described; even the order they were put in perfectly help...ed me to understand

But seriously, was the curator of the Quebec section drunk, when he set it up?
maybe a quebecois or other canadians are able to follow, but for me: i had to run constantly back & forth inside the section and still did'nt really get the point הצג עוד

Wow that new history hall really is disappointing, remove the stamp hall and bring back the village that was up stairs, what real let down it was to see what is now to what once was before

An excellent place to visit. But you do need to give it some time to absorb all the images and information - it has very informative and well organized texts and images.

It's a wonderful site. I will never get to visit the actual museum, so I am glad that there's so many interactive exhibits on line. just wish they'd do a slow and complete walk through for those of ...us who aren't physically able to get to the actual museum. הצג עוד

It was so much to see and do, if I lived close by there I'd go there every weekend. It was beautiful and inviting and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Thank you for all your kindness and... for making our day so memorable. הצג עוד

Incredible! Well done one would need a week to absorb it all. Very challenging to capture the history of such a vast place but they do a great job. Loved the interactive hands on exhibits.

A beautiful museum and with so much to see. We were there for four hours and felt like we could have stayed longer and seen more. I'll be going again on my next trip to Ottawa.
