This once reputable company is advertising for freelance science writers and editors at 80% below th...e industry rates. No superannuation, sick pay or holidays and the worker bears all the business and office costs. That means the hourly rate is well below the minimum wage - for any skill level. How can this be? I once believed that Cambridge University Press embodied the values of honesty, truth and transparency - not exploitation and cruel working conditions. Incredible. עוד
Shameless online shopping experience. I have tried to purchase books from you twice and both times, ...but I get an error and my "order" is not found anywhere, but I still get charged for it. The first time was a couple of years ago and then today, I have the exact the same experience. I am actually quite surprised an organisation like this has not solved online commerce issues yet. I would not recommend attempting a purchase on the online store. עוד

We've taken our new @CUPBookshop mug on a tour of Cambridge to celebrate the history of the Bookshop site. Back in May the Bookshop turned 25 years old, but the shop itself has been around for a great deal longer and selling books since 1581!
