I really love the idea of this sweater but I think it could be redesigned to eliminate the break in the center. Cool website for vintage knits!

I finally cast on (403 sts!) for this shawl I've been drooling over for months using a blend of merino wool, cashmere and silk. (MadelineTosh Pashmina in the Baltic colourway.)

I asked my Dad to make me an Amish swift and he delivered! Made of maple wood, he cleverly added rails which enable the pins to slide to any position you like. It spins easily but if you want more tension, you can simply tighten it. But he didn't stop there, he also bought a ball winder for me! My old was was terrible, this one is magic!

Started a new pair of socks last night. These are from the Craftsy knit along with Lucy Neatby, Smocked Guernsey Socks.

Cashmere and merino wool lace sock in progress. Seems a little too big. Do I frog and start over on smaller needles or push on and try to shrink them? What would you do? (German short row heel, my first.)
