Instructions to Download the Everand App on Kindle Fire

For Fire tablets, access to Everand can vary depending on your device model. Generally, 4th generation tablets and later should be able to support the latest version of the Everand app. If you're running Fire OS 6 or later, you can enjoy Everand right on your device.

The following instructions will help you install the Everand app on your Kindle Fire. Open these instructions on your device’s browser.

Set up the device to allow installation of applications from outside the Appstore:

• Open the Settings menu by swiping down from the top of your Kindle Fire screen and tapping the gear wheel icon in the notification menu - or simply Select the Settings icon from the device’s app drawer
• From the Settings page, select “Security & Privacy”
• Make sure the 'Apps from Unknown Sources' option is set to On - this will allow Everand’s app to be installable

Download the Everand app

• Hold down the Install button on this page until a window with the heading "Download the Everand app" pops up. Click "Download link" from the list of options

Please note that the device may show a warning since it’s an installation from outside the Appstore; you can continue with your download. If you see a notification that says “File can’t be downloaded securely”, click “Keep”. If you see a notification that says “File might be harmful”, click “Download anyway”

Installation

If not prompted to install directly after downloading the application, please do the following:

• Open the web browser on your Kindle Fire
• Open the browser's settings menu (tap the three dot overflow icon) and select 'Downloads'
• Select the 'Everand.apk' and tap the 'Install' button at the bottom of the screen
• Once the Everand app is installed, you will be able to find it on your home screen along with your other apps
• Open Everand and either create an account or sign into your existing account
